**Disney Fantasy June 30th, 2012- EASTERN**

So, I have really been trying to work on a FE. My DD and I even made it to the fabric store (Joann's) but didn't find anything we liked. I may try to just make it out of solid felt - red, black and yellow - and do some design on it. I just can't get motivated.

Anyone else making more progress?

We are going to cheat and use the FE we used for our last cruise. Years ago we were able to find Disney fabric in the Walmart fabric section. I haven't looked to see if they still carry it now or not.

This will be are 14th cruise on Disney (Bingo's 3rd)

Welcome Aboard Mates!! I hope that we will be able to go (up in the air at this point) - however, I was on another Disney cruise where there was a service dog-in-training on board. I was impressed at how well the dog coped. Now it was hard for us dog lovers to keep our distance (except for the allowed off service times!). Bingo is so beautiful - will you offer a "sign-up" for Bingo visits from dog lovers?

I am so excited my Aunt (who is also our travel agent) just sent me an e-mail saying that she received a package from Disney. The bad news is she is on vacation herself and can't mail it out for a couple of weeks. I am so excited I can't wait to see it. Did anyone else get a package?

Sadly it looks like me and my husband may have to cancel this cruise and go on one later in the year. I wish we didnt have to cancel, but I think that it is going to be the right thing to do.

Because people will ask about Bingo.

Normally I let "little kids" & other folks in wheelchairs pet him. But when its a ship Full of kids i don't let anyone.

He works for the "petting" that i give him. If i let everyone pet him, He wont work for me. (sorry)

I'm a trainer of Service dogs.

For FE "gifts" Toys are always good lol. He cant have "food" of any type. (his tummy)



But i know a Dog that you can pet. I have a photo of me petting him.

So on this, our first really dreary, cold day here in Indiana yet this fall, I'm dreaming of June.

Hoping Southwest releases their next set of dates soon - I want to get moving!!!

That's all - just dreaming.

In the interim, I have a hockey season and gymnastics competition season to get through! DS1's team won their season opening tournament, so we're in for an exciting season with him. DS2 is still recovering from a broken leg sustained at practice, so we're trying to keep him otherwise occupied. BUT! He went to school today w/o the wheelchair for the first time in a month. Progress!

Southwest dates come out this weekend- that makes it even more real! Probably should start working on FE gifts. Is anyone else organized and done? Do we have an updated list?

The last list that I have in my system is from June. Since there are some people that have joined since then and some have left my bet is it is out of date. DCLaholic-mom where you the one that was pulling this together? I have started brainstorming but nothing concrete yet. I figured life will slow down after the holidays and then I can focus on these . . . well, maybe.

Small world! My husband and I are both Purdue grads, too. I have a Civil degree, and his is Finance. When were you there?

We're in a neighboring town of Carmel. Actually - if we lived one street south, we'd have a Carmel address!

Not very many more people have joined the FE list since I was last on, but I will mail out an updated version shortly. I have been so consumed with the house that I have missed a lot of info on our beloved Fantasy ship, except from the few people on the facebook page. Anything new while I was gone?

Thanks! It was very time consuming. I have a feeling everyone will wake up after the holidays. I am trying to figure out my fish extender. I keep changing my mind. I will probably end up with one per da hanging outside my door. I also have not decided about the gifts. I am thinking that since there are not a lot of people signed up that I might do an fe gift per day. Hmmmmm.

I graduated in 1987 (BS CS) and my husband in 1985 (BS AAE). We met in the Purdue Band. My home address was 106th street and Keystone and then my mom moved to 126th and Keystone. I bring my girls back every summer so we can enjoy the state fair and I take them to Kings Island where I used to go when I was growing up in Indy.

Hi All,
This is going to be our FIRST DisCruise! I am SO EXCITED!!!

My hubby and I have been cruising with other (inferior) cruiselines in the past but our 3 kiddos (DS10, DD7, DS5) have never been before.

Please, everyone, take pity on me for being a "newbie" and fill me in on all the little things we NEED to know for cruising Disney style!

Welcome TheCapellsMom. Glad you are joining us. You have already taken the first great step and that is making your reservation and then getting on these boards. We enjoyed learning all about the ships before we went. We are still newbies as we only have been on one Disney cruise but the people here hand holded us through the process as well.
