Since this is our first time participating in Fish Extenders (but not our first DCL cruise), I was wondering when we will find out about our fish extender group. The cruise is getting closer and we need to have an idea of what/how many fish extenders we are picking up.

Email Daniel (Tigger/Pooh4) at nascar9@aol.com. He can email you the FE list for the group(s) you are in. The groups are set at about 14 staterooms a piece. Since you do not have 10 posts yet, you cannot PM him and he cannot PM you.

Okay - since this is going to be our official meet thread, I've decided to edit my post to include the information from the other meet thread. IrishCowboy was unable to merge the two and I'm unable to figure out who the moderator is for these boards to make the magic happen - so this seems to be the easiest way. I'll note over there for anyone who might be following that thread to come join us over here

Hello fellow cruisers!! Can it ever be too early to start a meet group? Well, maybe, but I'm so excited about crusing again next year, I just can't contain myself!!

We moved our cruise from Spring Break 2015 to this date! Can't wait to go back to St. Maarten and St. Thomas and most of all Castaway Cay - best island EVER! This will be our fifth DCL cruise. Yeah, finally going to reach gold status . We'll be celebrating our 25th Anniversary (a few weeks early) on this cruise
We are me (Lubi, aka nc_tink), (DH) Brian; (DS) Connor (17, at time of cruise) and (DS) Kieran (15, at time of cruise)

This post will be updated with information about FE Lists, Meets, etc.

Are you trying to join the FE groups? The ones being organized by Tigger/Pooh4 have already closed since people need time before the cruise to prepare the gifts.

Thank you for the info. Just e-mailed Tigger/Pooh4 this morning. Also just also ordered my Fish Extender. Cutting it close with the shipping though... Eep! Also, having a tough time keeping this trip quiet from the kids. I'm bursting at the seems with excitement!

DId you get in a group for fish extenders, We would love to exchange with people like us that missed the cut off.

I don't want to take on the responsibility of organizing a list of a "late comers" FE group (too much to do between now and when we sail) but I might be able to pixie dust a few as well. If those posters who were too late to get in on the fish extender groups would like to post your stateroom numbers and the ages and genders of everyone in your party, it seems like there is enough interest to get at least a small late comers group together.

I have emailed him three different times and have not gotten a response about anything. Is this normal? Just wanting to make sure we are on a fish extender list somewhere.

Hello, we have never been a part of a group meet and I understand from the posts that there is a group which is closed. This is a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone on this list has a 5/6 year old girl who might be going to the kids' clubs by herself who might like a buddy. My daughter, turning 6 on the cruise, is nervous about going by herself to the clubs and I thought I might try to find her a friend ahead of time to go with. I hope this is OK to ask, I've posted before on other threads (this is our 4th cruise) but never on the "meet" area. Thanks!

We also have a 5 year old girl who will be spending time in the clubs. I will TRY my best to make it to the meet to introduce her to some other girls. All I know we have to do is sign up for Mixology class, get tickets to meet Anna & Elsa and the Princess Encounter then get ready for dinner.

It is against DCL rules to place beverages in your luggage. Trust me you do not wish to do this anyway. The luggage is very roughly handled therefore wet clothes can happen if the container breaks. You are allowed to bring beverage (alcoholic or not) as a carry on. DCL recently are now stopping guest from bring in wheeled coolers therefore you will have to place your beverages in your carryons and lug it around until 1:30pm and then you can offload them to your stateroom.

I was looking for suggestions for free wife while in port and came across these two options..thought I would share with the group

St. Maarten

• Hard Rock Café located on the boardwalk along Philipsburg Bay

St. Thomas

• Pizza Amore in Al Cohen’s Mall located across the street from Havensight cruise pier

our email got lost in a junk mail folder so we didn't make the fish extender group. we would be happy to pixie dust a few people too if we have stateroom numbers. otherwise we will just pixie dust random rooms with our fe gifts!
