Were coming from Texas as well. First time at any of the ports other than Castaway.

We're making a fairly short hop from Texas.

Now that this Summer is over, I'm ready to start thinking more about next year!

This will be our first time on the Fantasy and, aside from Castaway Cay, our first time to any of these ports.

I'm curious who all in the forum has been on this sailing before and what they have to say about things that are must do and excursions that you found to be not worth while.

Welcome aboard! :cool1: We did this same trip in 2013, and had a blast! We did Bernard's tour in St Marten and it was really good. In St. Thomas, we just wandered around the port for a while exploring, but it was a rainy day so we spent a little more time on the ship. We plan to take the cable car to the top of the "hill" to get a better view this time.
As for onboard, the staff in "the Tube" did a great job of taking care of the adult night time activities.

This will be our First Disney Cruise. Looking forward to it. We will have a 14 year old daughter trying to decide between going to the Vibe or the Edge club.

We will also be celebrating 25 years of marriage.

:thumbsup2

One quick note...for those flying into MCO, I noticed today that on December 17, 2014 Southwest will open their schedule for sale through August 7, 2015 (which includes our sail dates).

We intend on flying into MCO on Friday afternoon, where I booked a one night stay at the Hilton. I REALLY want to get a direct afternoon flight so want to make sure I jump on it ASAP.

Now, on to some questions:

1- Anyone planning on running the Castaway Cay 5K?
2- Is there anywhere to get a snack before the lunch locations open (11 am I believe)? If I run the 5k, I am going to want probably some fruit and water, but wasn't sure if I would have to go back to the boat for that or not.

Yeah, I'm in for sure (barring any unforeseen injury between now and then). The family still hasn't decided if they want to do the stingray excursion that day or not so not quit sure what else the day has in store, but I will certainly be looking forward to a non treadmill run.

Welcome LSUfan4444 (and others I may have missed!)
I believe my daughter is thinking about the 5K. She may drag more of us along as well.

And most importantly.......

Merry Christmas to all our shipmates! Have a wonderful holiday!

Unfortunately, posts have been removed from a number of Cruise Meets threads including this one.

PLEASE review the Cruise Meet Policy regarding Cruise Meet and Fish Extender programs. - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3353477

Links to Cruise Meet discussion/Fish Extenders other than those on the DIS may not be posted or offered by any other means (PM, email, "search" directions).

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM. For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.

Enjoy!

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

One more first time cruiser to join the group. SG (age 11) and I are so excited for this trip. Is there anything I should make sure makes it to our suitcases for the trip?:butterfly
