Hi all!
Just back from the Land of Mouse. Pizzerizzo wasn't open yet, but Gonzo's Royal Flush is now open for ... um business. Also, the Muppets Magic Kingdom show in Liberty Square was incredible!

Thanks for all the recent updates etc. I still need cabin numbers from many of you. As a reminder, this DIS Fish Extender exchange is separate from any you might have signed up for via Facebook (just in case you might be confused).

Also a quick tip for anyone looking for a little treat for themselves if they're on a budget-- you can pre-purchase a 1-day Rainforest Room pass by calling DCL. This basically gives you spa access (showers, sauna, etc) for an entire day, and it's just $16! When I spoke with a DCL rep, they mentioned that you can only buy 1-day passes before sailing. There are other larger packages (3 day, entire cruise pass) but for anyone looking for an afternoon of serenity, this looks to be an affordable option!

Here's a good blog post from Scott, at DCL blog, regarding his experience with mixology on the fantasy. Basically you get together with the group and we get to drink 5 cocktails. We are also taught how to make each cocktail and for every round several people from the group get to go up and help make the cocktail. It's a lot of fun (we did it on the Wonder last year) and very reasonable (about $20 pp) so you get quite the buzz going on the cheap ;-)

Good morning everyone! I would like to add more info to the FE spreadsheet.

The A/M in our cabin in my husband Glenn.

Some of our favorite Disney characters are Ariel, Rapunzel, Mickey and Minnie, Elena of Avalor, Izzie from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Tinkerbell.

As adults, my husband and I are HUGE coffee and tea drinkers and we enjoy any type of chocolate.

Being from Denver, we love to support our DENVER BRONCOS!

We have no known food allergies or restrictions.

Hope this helps make the spreadsheet more complete!

Anyone else on the wait list for early dining? I'm really nervous we won't get it and my kids go to bed at 830! Keeping my then 3 year old up just won't be an option and I don't want to miss out on all of the dining experiences!

If you are not able to get earlier dining before hand, you will have another opportunity when on board. It is slim, but it is a chance. Once onboard, ask where dining arrangements are made (Probably Royal Court or Animators Palate). there you can ask if they have any availability for a switch. Based on observation of my 4 y old (dec 2015), the late dining wasn't a problem. So much to do that as long as she had an afternoon nap, she was good to go to the clubhouse AFTER late dining.... I do not know how it would have gone down a year earlier though. Good luck!

We were really lucky and got early dining!! I'm so excited. My 2 and 5 year old don't nap anymore so it would have been rough for us. Now here's hoping we get tickets to the princess gathering!

IMPORTANT FISH EXTENDER UPDATE!

As promised, here's the 2-week update on our Fish Extender Spreadsheet. There have been a few edits/tweaks to spellings etc on Endor, but no cabins have changed. I've been adjusting the two open subgroups (Tatooine and Jakku) to reflect response from DIS folks. So far, we have near-complete info from several of you, but I still need cabin numbers. Next week, I'll take a look at our total numbers for open subgroups, and we can decide whether we want to combine open groups or keep them open separately until we close on Dec 1. I am still getting requests to join our Fish Extender group via DIS and email, so please keep checking the updated spreadsheets as I post them.

As promised, our FE will officially close on December 1. For anyone in Tatooine, you are formally confirmed when you provide your cabin number-- so anyone looking to personalize gifts, please keep that in mind when looking at the current list. There has been some confusion by DIS/Facebook overlap, but Endor is set, and any cabins listed with cabin number are confirmed as well.

Totally unrelated, I've noticed we have a pretty serious Star Wars (no surprise), Star Trek, and Dr Who fan base on this cruise! Pretty exciting! Are there any fellow board game geeks out there as well?

For anyone getting desperate in their Fish Extender creation, trying searching for "Fish Extender" on Amazon. I just did, and several items under $10 showed up that would work as great starting points for your Extenders.

FISH EXTENDER SPREADSHEET UPDATE!

Hi everyone! Here's the latest Fish Extender Spreadsheet, updated as of 11/15. I have greyed out any cabins who have not provided complete info yet-- ie cabin numbers. They are still assumed to be participating in our exchange, but I want to provide confirmed info for anyone who is looking to do personalized gifts. Endor is closed, but details are still trickling in, like allergies and favorite characters. Tatooine and Jakku are still open, and I am looking to fill Tatooine now. As always, please post, PM, or email me at Kathleenmariekelly at gmail dot com if you need to edit details, be removed from the list, or still want to join our fun exchange!

Our list closes officially on December 1, so please send me updates and let me know if you want to join in! Once I have your cabin number, you're confirmed!

If anyone is interested in Mixology, I have a sign up sheet going on *that other social media site* so if you are not in that group but would like to join, please sign up here (tag me or message me) and I will add you. I will need the first and last name of each person in your group and the cabin number.

As of now there is some confusion as to when mixology classes are being offered. In the past they have been on sea days - either the first or second sea day of the cruise - usually at 2pm or 4pm (they last an hour). However now there is speculation that mixology will be on PORT days. Possibly at 4pm only. Not great news if you have lots of excursions planned etc. As soon as I get confirmation (I've emailed DCL at two separate email addresses as I wasn't sure the first one was correct!) that it's either sea days or port days I will let you know!
