Disney Fantasy Eastern Caribbean December 14 2013

Hi!
I clicked the "join us" tab, filled out the questions, and clicked "submit". I did this a few days ago and still don't see our name (HelmlingsSLC) on the lists. Does it just take longer to update the list?
We are so excited to participate and don't want to miss out.
Thank you.
Lola

New to the forum, SO excited for this trip and ready to join in the fun! My mother (G-ma 70), my daughter (Lil Red 13) and I (Mama J) have been on a prior Disney Cruise and could not say enough good things about our experiences. So much so, that we recruited our friends and this time we are traveling with a couple of other families (HelmlingsSLC).

I submitted the Join Us form from your link and we are participating in everything we can. Would love to hear what other excursions and activities fellow travelers have selected.
Thx!

Lola--- the list doesn't just update itself...I do and I am quit busy. Patience is a vurtue.

Count down--- you guys have less then 70 days ..whoot whoot!!! Just a little FYI, if you have come on here and asked to join in on stuff, YOU MUST fill out the join us form to do so. The FE list has only 27 more days to join. NOVEMBER 1 is the cut off. If you don't join by that time you are SOL.

Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to say hi! I know the FB page is more chatty, but I feel like I've been missing from both of them! We are so excited for the cruise! I feel like it's still so far away, but it's so great to have that to look forward to! We are SLAMMED right now between school and kids activities so the time will go by quickly!!!

Hope y'all are enjoying the fall!!

Beth,
I have 3 kids that are close to your kids ages. It will be fun for them to meet some new people. Can't wait!

I am quite patient and just wanted to make sure I did everything correctly. I am somewhat computer illiterate:confused3

You did just fine. :-). Smarter then you give yourself credit for....;-)

How is everyone getting to the cruise port? Deciding between disney transfers or private town car for a family of 4. Disney transfers is cheaper.

We are renting a car, because we get in on Thursday night and are not staying on Disney property. Thursday we get in at 11:30 PM, so we're staying at the Holiday Inn Express by the airport. Friday we'll drive to Cocoa Beach and stay there after MVMCP. Haven't booked anything to get back to the airport, but probably will book Happy Limo van, because we have so much luggage and they seem to be the cheapest for what we need.

We are also renting a car. We like being in control of when we are able to leave for the port:). Matt will return the car near the port area and just take the shuttle back. Same thing on the return, as we are staying until Sunday.

We are taking disney transfers since it's just the two of us and we are staying at old key west the few nights before cruise.

We always do a rental car, just because it is the least expensive option and I want to put as much money as I can into the fun parts of the cruise. I drop off everyone else and all luggage at the port, then go alone to return the rental car while DW checks everyone in. I ride the rental car company's shuttle back to the port and usually have just a short wait until it is time to board. On debarkation we all ride the rental car shuttle to pick up a car for the return.

Thanks everyone for the input. DH wants to do disney transfers because of the ease of luggage.

We're flying in the night before, staying at the Hyatt in the airport, and taking DCL transfers to the port and back. Can't argue with how simple it is, esp. not having to handle luggage.

We are doing this package http://www.ramadasuitesorlandoairport.com/packages.nxg
it is very cheap for family of 6, the cost of the hotel and transfers is i think less then we would have paid for just the transfers. Only $236 for the hotel, transfers, and taxes :cool1:

Would anyone want to share a limo for the cruise transfer? We could do just one way. Before the cruise we will be at animal kingdom lodge. After we will e at port orleans. Thanks!! There are 4 in my family. $430 for round trip. Plus 20% gratuity. It would hold 8 people total. Thanks!!

Jmefox and jaxgatorfamily can I please have sizes for 1yr old boy, 1 1/2 yr old girl, and 2yr old boy please

Thank you

Welcome aboard! We will probably sign up for a bus tour for St. Marteen and then snorkeling in St. Thomas. I've heard good things about the beach outing in St. Marteen as well.
