Disney Fantasy Cruise November 8th - 15th 2014 ... here we come!

Hi there and welcome aboard!! I have added both your families to Group Stitch. Please take a moment to look at the link and make sure to let me know if I have made a mistake ;). Looking forward to meeting you! Z
I forgot to add the second party in our group with Corey and Jessica are celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary.

I have a question on the formal night, when is it, and where? This is my first Disney Cruise and it finally feels like things are starting to happen for this trip. As of Friday Excursions, dinner, nursery, ground transportation, all booked. I even just made our fish extender this weekend. I guess I'm a little excited :)

Hi everyone! Just found this thread (and DISboards, actually). I am so excited that our first cruise ever is going to be a Disney cruise! It will be myself, my husband and my oldest son going on the cruise, while my youngest son (who will be 11 months old at the time) stays home with the grandparents. We wanted to be able to enjoy the cruise without 2 naps a day. We are travelling with my brother in law, his wife and their 5 year old boy. I know it's late, but I was hoping to get my family in on the fish extender exchange. Is it still possible? We are staying in room 10092. It's me, Rachel, my husband, Chris and our son, Charlie (4 years old).

Hi there - I have added your family to the list. Welcome to the group !! You are in Group Stitch!

That does not sound crazy at all! I met my husband in late January of this year, we got engaged after 8 weeks and were married 8 weeks later. Kinda surprised all my friends and family but its the best thing I ever did we are so happy together. When you meet THE ONE....you just know it:)

We have booked our first Disney Cruise for and we would like to be apart of the fish extender group if it's not too late. We booked VGT and haven't found out our room number as of yet. It's me, Bonnie and my husband Jim, our 5 kids Hannah (10), Jonathan (9), Elizabeth (7), Abbie (6), and Joseph (3).

Welcome! Hopefully you booked TWO staterooms, as no cabin on the Fantasy holds more than 5 total. ;)

Just a heads up to those who are travelling with children and like to budget all expenses - I just read this post on another thread.

"You are now charged automatically at the beginning of the cruise ($12.95) for the wrist band which is similar to the Magic Bands at WDW. You can choose to keep it or return it at the end of the cruise for a refund."

Not 100% sure about the accuracy of the information, but I felt it was something I should pass along. It is in reference to the children in the Oceaneer's Club

Another week closer cruisers....:banana::banana::banana:
Formal night is the second night of the cruise. You can look at the navigators for a similar cruise - I'll try to find the link later. There is a semi formal night toward the end of the cruise, I think the night before Castaway Cay but I am not sure. And pirate night is the night before that. I seem to have misplaced my planning notebook. (how did that happen:scared1:). I'll post again when I find it.

Have a great week,,,,:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Hi everyone! We are so excited for our upcoming cruise on November 8. This is our first cruise ever. I'm finding it a little overwhelming to take in all of the information available! I'm not even sure how to navigate through this site! Is this a new post, or am I responding to someone else's post? Any advice or tips would be appreciated! Also, we are planning on hanging a fish extender. Do we have to join a group to participate? We are in room 10586. We are a family of 4....myself (40), my husband (53), and my two daughters (6 & 9). We look forward to making new friends and new memories in November!

It's definitely overwhelming at first, I felt the same way before our first cruise. But these boards are GREAT for info!! Feel free to ask any question and someone will know for sure, either here in our group or in the main cruise subforum.
The Disboards are a discussion forum, so it doesn't work exactly like Facebook does. If you look back at the first page of this thread, that would be the first post and then all posts afterwards are just subsequent posts either discussing something new or something brought up previously in the thread. There is a fish extender for our group so you have to sign up for it. Someone here is organizing the whole thing as it's very complicated. We've split our cruise into groups of 10 or 12 cabins to make things easier and not as expensive.
There are many families in our cruise and I'm sure there are some with kids your daughter's ages. :)
You're going to have a blast! Feel free to ask anything. We'll all try to help!

Exactly as expected: I received my cruise docs today! :cool1:

When does the FE list close? I want to begin organizing the FE gifts.. Also can someone please post the link to the latest FE lists? Thanks!!!
