Tracy: I think our room is not too far from yours. :lmao:

I better tell my dh it wasn"t me eating those hamburgers or BLT's which may end up near our room and I don't know how they got there. :confused3

Can't wait to meet you guys. :yay: We are going to have sooo much fun.

Mary: I promise to ignore the trays outside your room if you do the same for me!

Looking forward to meeting you and your family! :)

There ae a few cameras to watch/see the ship on.

The main one is the Port Canaveral Cam. It will also follow the ships as they go out (not sure who or how to control that one).

There is also stationary cam on the other side of the channel called the Port Canaveral Cruise Cam.

Where the channel goes into the ocean, you can watch the ships on the Ron Jon Beachcam.

Then after the ships are off all those cams, there is the Two Palms cam. On this one the ship will be a little futher in the distance.

The ships usually leave at 5:00 Eastern and pass the last cam (Two Palms) by around 5:25 p.m. Eastern.

Watching the ship sail the next couple weeks will get you excited for our cruise going out soon after.

I'll have to look up the cams for the islands the Fantasy stops at. I saw her in Grand Cayman and Cozumel last week. Not sure if there is a Costa Maya cam, but I'll have to look. The ship is on an Eastern this week though, so I'll have to see what cams are out there. I remember seeing one for St. Thomas (Wednesday), but not sure about St. Maarten. I'll post what I find.

Happy viewing. :happytv:

Thank you so much. You are right it will make us excited to think in a few weeks will be there. Can't wait.

Arggggh Kimberly that wouldve been fun, but we are on second dining, we always have to do that as we can never fit three meals in otherwise!!

We will let ourselves be at the mercy of disney :rotfl:

Hoping you and I get great table mates. Also, a few of us with young girls are going to meet at the pool. We are hoping are kids make friends so they can enjoy the kids club. Join us. Maybe it will help will she leaves from dinner know her friend is waiting to play with her.

This is our first Disney Cruise and my kids (DD 6.5, DS 3.5) are overwhelmingly excited (as are we)! But, I see tons of mentions of FE.....what is this? Are we too late to participate? We would love to if possible...

Thanks for your help!!

Yes, I suggested a second SEPARATE list for those of us who missed the cut-off.

Anyone who would like to be on this second FE list, please let me know. I will keep track of the list and post it as Chris has done with the first one. :yay:
Hi!! This is our first cruise and I didn't realize there was such a thing as FE...can we be included in this second list? I will make sure to get gifts together as well if possible. What do I need to do?

Thanks,
Paulette

Good Morning,

This is our first cruise and would love for my son to meet other kids that are his age. Does anyone have a 7-10 year old?

Thanks and looking forward to meeting you.

Hello and welcome to the cruise thread!

For those of us that booked XGT rooms, looks like the Fantasy sailing just before us (8/11) got their rooms today. So we may not get ours until inside 2 weeks.

The good thing is, of the two that posted on the tracking thread, they got a 5B and a 5C, but booked only OGT.

Hope we get the same luck.

WELCOME !!! to all the new cruisers!!:cool1::cool1:

Just a little idea my dd came up with,- a few cruises ago on the intial cruise meet up a little boy gave out plastic bracelets to all the young children that were there. It turned out to be a great icebreaker for the children and when they would see each other round the ship.

Now Im really short on luggage space (coming for 17 nights from the UK) BUT my dd Georgia wants to give out those flowery necklace things to the little girls, at the meet before the sailaway party.

Would it be ok just to do the little girls (under 10 say) as Im sure the older ones will be too cool to wear them anyway.

Any objections/ better ideas?

Bren:yay:

Welcome aboard Paulette and family I should have enough FE items to give to you children as my gifts are for the children aboard.

Safe traveling to the cruise

Hi Everyone

This is our second Disney cruise but I forgot all about the FE's. We have two girls 10 and 11 that would love to join in. It sounds like there hasn't been much interest in a second list.

It took me a while but I read through all of your posts and picked up some great pointers.

Thanks and I hope to see you all soon!

Karen
