Disney Fantasy - 7 night - Western Caribbean - April 30, 2016

So far we are set on doing Sting Ray City, but not sure about Cozumel. We will stay on the boat in Jamaica most likely.

Good evening everyone!!! My wife and I plus 9 other family members are very excited to be joining this cruise!!!!!!!! My wife and I have sailed before and this will be our 5th time. We are fans of the fish extender. Did the one for this cruise already close. It would just be me and my wife participating. I plan on reading through the thread later today or tomorrow!!!!!!!!! We are all very excited!!!!!!!!!!

So from reading this it looks like there's small group 3 still open for the fish extender our information is

Michael and Anna-adults
We do not drink alcohol
Our room is GTY I will update when we have our room number
But as I posted we are traveling with 9 other family members and three of those are little princesses. So if you want to give us stuff for them instead of us adults that would bring some extra magic to their first cruise. So basically I guess u can say our favorite characters are Disney princesses

In Cozumel, we were going to do the release the baby turtle, but they won't hatch until June! I'm so bummed!! So we may just do a beach day. Will Sting Ray City be more exciting that the feed the sting rays at CC?

In Cozumel, we are doing the catamaran and snorkel adventure on the Fury. We did it in October and loved it!! My youngest (5) at the time stayed on board with me then my dad switched so I could snorkel. The boat ride was fun for her and they gave us drinks and snacks. After you snorkel, they take you to a beach where they have kayaks and slides, that was fun as well!
Are you booking this privately? With which company?

It is so much better than CC. It is out in the open ocean on a sand bar and the sting rays can come and go as they please. The company's will bring guides out to help with handling. But the sting rays are super friendly. I also feel like you get too interact more with them. At CC all we did was touch the tops of them as they swam around in a enclosed circle.

Ahoy, Shipmates!
  • Linda(47):eeyore: and Kevin(51):smickey: -- we are ditching our four college-aged kiddies!
  • Seattle
  • 5A, Deck 9, Mid
  • hoping to meet other 30-/40-/50-somethings who would rather act like kids than supervise them:earboy2:
  • also doing a pre- and post-cruise road trip for history and MLB parks in Georgia and Florida. So, we'll start 7 days early in Atlanta, and we'll fly home from Ft. Lauderdale after a couple nights in the Keys.

We've cruised a few times, and been to the parks countless times, but this is our 1st DCL, and my first time participating in an online meet thread (btw, Is this thread the "roll call" for our departure, or is there a 2nd thread?). This cruise is to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary (May 5).

See you in 42 days!

We had booked a dune buggy ride and beach trip at first in Cozumel. After doing some YOUTUBE searches on it~I realized my 2 kids (11 & 8) would be beyond bored after a 40 min. "ride" down an interstate & 30 min. beach trip & back again. So I had been trying to decide what to book instead. After reading your post, I searched it as well. Decided the kids would most likely love this and so we booked it! Thank you for sharing your experience on it! We also booked the stingray city in the Caymans. Not sure if Im going to do it but I know the rest of my family will love it. :)

While in Key West, if you have time walk through the lobby of the resort Casa Marina, and out to the beach. We stayed last time we were in the keys (I grew up in south Florida) and I swear that resort has the best spot for the beach. Not to mention parasailing or waverunner rentals on property. Just something to think of if your looking for some ocean time!

Hello All :)

I am getting super excited! Can't believe only 39 days left!!

So I was hoping to get some advice or tips :) It is just myself, hubby and our 5 year old son cruising and I am having the hardest time planning our excursions. With my son being 5 I am finding we are limited to the excursions we can participate in. Originally I planned for us to do the Manatee Encounter @ Chankanaab (Cozumel) but I think he does not meet the height requirement? Although I spoke to a rep at Chankanaab and they said they would give us the ok since he just misses the height requirement. I think my son would enjoy it but I am not positive and I don't want to spend the money and have him not want to do it at all. Has anyone done this with a 5/6 year old? I also read reviews on Playa Mia? So I am just not sure what would be the best place with a 5 year old but that we would also enjoy?

Grand Cayman: I was thinking of doing the turtle farm. I have ready pretty good reviews. Those of you who have 5 or 6 year olds what are your plans for grand cayman?

Jamaica: I was going to book an excursion for Dunns River Falls/River Rafting through Shore Excursions (we have used them before and everything was great). What are you doing in Jamaica?

Castaway Cay: We beached it last time and relaxed:)

HELP!!
