Oh we too are staying at AKL the night before the cruise, and again my daughter Holly(13) would also really appreciate knowing some of the others prior to boarding. So if you folks are meeting up we would love to join in too!

Great! Once we have meal reservations set, I'll have a better idea of when we can meet. I think our reservation window opens this weekend, actually! For transportation, I think we're going to just get private transportation since RT with a private car is about the same as the bus for 4.

I just made our dining reservation for that evening for 7:10. Would meeting afterwards be too late for your family - maybe 8:45PM? I know you're coming from an earlier time zone. We don't land until 4:30PM that day, but I'm assuming we'll be at AKL by around 6:30. If that works better for you, we could try to meet up then. Maybe by the big fireplace in the lodge lobby?

Oops, I did not know that. (sorry) Was on Disney Cruise in April 2015 and a social media group was started prior to the cruise from the Dis board.

Yeah, they used be allowed (back in a time when people just used the other place to talk to each other personally, and the cruise meet handled all the cruise information), but too many people were basically coming onto the cruise meet thread saying "We're over on ****, come on over". Thereby gutting the DISboards meets.

So, DISboards adopted the policy that other sites have not allowing links to such places.

Hi Stacy, my 14 year old (15 at cruise time) might be interested in getting to know some of the other kids. It looks like we've got a nice-sized group of similarly aged girls just in this meet thread!

I know, I noticed that there seems to be a nice-sized group of similarly aged girls. I think its great. I am sure if your daughter is interested my daughter would be happy for them to talk prior to the cruise. Thanks!!
