DISNEY FANTASY 12518

I stayed in this cabin on Dream 1 week ago and posted full report in Stateroom reviews. Ships are identical. Enjoy. Its great.

The view from the balcony is going to be like any view from a Concierge balcony on deck 12, phenomenal, and being on starboard side you are almost guaranteed a view of the best side of Castaway Cay.

Who sits in their cabin while at Castaway?

The OP won't b/c they have a cabana.

I spend time on my balcony when at Castaway because I couldn't care less about Castaway Cay unless I have a cabana. The two times I haven't had a cabana I spent a total of three hours on Castaway Cay because it bores me. It's hot and uninteresting.

Besides, your response is unnecessary, since they asked what the view would be from deck 12. I responded with what their view would be like, which is exactly the correct response to the question. They didn't note that they had a cabana until 10 minutes *after* my post, so my statement was completely relevant.

Really Great thanks so much how was the view from the balcony

Really thats great we also have a cabana #25

You'll love the SB cabanas. They're the only reason I bother going ashore. #25 is nice and isolated, too. Most people never get that far down the beach, preferring to stay near the bathrooms, bar and buffet.

Thanks Phinz My BF is a picky eater Meat and potatoes do they have alot of options for him

The main dining rooms can accommodate just about anything, and there's always hot dogs, bratwurst, pizza and chicken fingers at the quick service locations during the off hours. The breakfast and lunch buffets have all sorts of food for all sorts of eaters.

Never been a fan off the buffets after our first cruise with people sticking there hands all over the food

They usually have some sort of carved meat at the buffet, and you can alway just wait until they refresh the item you want. If you want to eat on Castaway Cay then it will be a buffet regardless.

i always get starboard for the view of CC, even if it is only for a view with coffee on the verandah in the morning, it's special

have fun ecu pirates!

I enjoy the starboard side, too. There is a bit of time between docking and all ashore as well as all aboard and departure so watching that from the balcony is quite nice. We've been in 12514/12510/12522 so you can tell where my loyalties are :)

Meat and potatoes can be found in the MDR and during breakfast/lunch there is a sit down dining option which will have basic foods (ie Royal Palace's lunch menu some days offers hamburger/FF). Also, sometimes my stomach has been finicky on a cruise and there is no problem ordering from the kids' menu if I want something a little less "sauced" or complicated. I would not worry about food on DCL, while it may not be great according to people who are quite into food (not me), it's good and plentiful.

Yes, we stayed in this cabin last January. Did you have questions about it?
