I hadn't heard about this yet, but it was just on our news. Yay, makes me a little happy to think there will be something Disney nearby for me!

Yep, been waiting impatiently for over a year since I first heard the announcement. Hopefully will be completed this fall like they've planned. I'm keeping an eye on it to see if there will be any grand opening celebrations.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. They said sometime in October on ABC news this morning. So long as everything goes according to plan, that really isn't too far away now. Eek. I hope they do some big opening celebration. I'll plan on being there.

I haven't been over to the Presidio since about January/February, but it looked like the construction going on in the barracks building that the museum is going to be housed in was going along swimmingly. Since it's right there along the old Parade Grounds, they definitely have the room to throw some sort of bash to celebrate the opening. I for one will be there on opening day for sure.
