Hi yall!!!

We have a family trip schedule for June1-June8, this is our very first trip to Disney. So starting this week the kids and I have decided to watch a Disney movie every Friday. That's our normal family movie night. I was hoping if maybe the family board can give us some great Disney movie ideas for movie night.

We have a list going:
Little Mermaid
Frozen
Snow white
Avatar
Beauty and the Beast
Lilo and Stich
Tangled
Dumbo

Kids are 14,12,5

TIA!!

We're doing something similar. I rented Swiss Family Robinson this past weekend for them. I think we've done most of the ones on your list other than Dumbo and Avatar. I also want to knock out Big Hero 6, Wreck it Ralph, Zootopia, Monsters, Inc. and Wall-E before we go and something from The Muppets. If they haven't done the Lion King yet, I highly recommend it. Oh, and Aladdin and The Incredibles (1 and 2). My boys have also seen a bunch of the Star Wars movies. And Coco (not that it appears much in the parks but it is a delightful movie).

If you have Netflix it has a very limited selection now (but it does have some fun Mickey Mouse themed stuff from the early 80's - we watched Mickey's House of Villains and I'm hoping to get them to watch a Mickey Mouse Christmas. Here's the Netflix list: https://www.whats-on-netflix.com/library/disney-movies-on-netflix/

Moana
Lion King
Inside Out
Pocahontas
Mulan
Princess and the Frog
Pinocchio
Fantasia 2000
101 Dalmations
Aristocats
Fox and the Hound
A Bug's Life
Tarzan
Hercules
Finding Nemo
The Incredibles
Wall-E
Ratatouille
Meet the Robinsons
Mars Needs Moms

Thankful for this thread. We've been doing the same thing. I've been prioritizing movies that correspond with rides or attractions we will be going on. (Toy Story, Snow White, Little Mermaid, etc.) There are some already mentioned that I'd forgotten! It's hard to find them since netflix has so few. I've been stalking the disney channel and recording anything that comes up. Still need to find Snow White, but the kids have seen it, just not recently. Now I need to add Dumbo and Fantasia to my list.

One that's hard to come by is Song of the South for Splash Mountain.

Other suggestions not already mentioned (but don't necessarily go with rides)...
Alice in Wonderland
Robin Hood (My favorite)
Bambi
Lady and the Tramp
Alladin
Hunchback of Notre Dame
Planes
Pete's Dragon

I didn’t see anyone mention Peter Pan. We always pre-game for our WDW trips by watching it. Peter Pan’s Flight is a favorite attraction of ours!

Song of the South has never been released because it is horribly racist. The only “good” thing to come out of it was the song Zip-ah-dee-do-dah.

my son is 2.5 and we do the same thing
if you have cable, and channel freeform they have disney movies all the time, so dvr them and they can watch..
but my sons favorites are as follows:
Lion King
Toy Story- #1 & 2
Finding Nemo
Finding Dory
Peter Pan
Monsters Inc
Winnie the Pooh
Cars- #1 & 3
Moana
and Coco is on Netflix so we watch that sometimes too!

Emmet Otters Jug Band Christmas ! It's a Henson production but I always call it Disney because Kermit is a narrator - it's a family tradition for us !

DS and I went through some of the really old movies one summer - Escape to Witch Mountain, The Gnome-Mobile, the original Parent Trap, etc. It was fun! I'd do ones connected to rides first, but then just pick what you think the kids will like and you can find. Here's a complete list:
