I was just married this past July in Disneyworld. We got married at the Wedding Pavilion. Let me tell you, if can swing it $$ do it. It doesn't matter whether you have 5 guests or 50.....the wedding pavilion has the view of a lifetime: The Magic Kingdom Castle. :bride:

We had Randy Chapman as our photographer and he did a fantastic job. I told him all the important photos I wanted and he made it happen. I am very pleased with my wedding photos.

We had our reception at Ariels and it is an ideal spot to continue your disney wedding.

Lastly we had our fireworks and dessert party. We had a change of venue for the dessert part because of the threat of rain (it never did) but we had our firework pictures taken at UK Lockside.....what a view!!! There is nothing to obstruct the view of the fireworks and the pictures were amazing. Again we hired Randy Chapman for our firework photos......Randy again did an amazing job. :thumbsup2

I'll figure out soon how to post pictures. Anyone have any tips on how to post pics let me know. I got great wedding pics to share.

Congrats & thanks for sharing your experience! My daughter is having her ceremony at the WP in April and the reception is at Ariels. I would love to see your photos when you can post.

:thumbsup2 Not a problem, it is a great restaurant and my cake was even little mermaid themed (wasn't at first). Soon as I can figure out how to post pictures on here I will.

To upload photos you need to first upload them to a site such as Photobucket and then use the code in your post.

We also used Stan Severance for video, and he did a great job! I also used Beaute Special for my hair and makeup. I used then 3 times, for my trial hair, the wedding and for our private park photos. Came out great!!! I used Jackie all 3 times and she's wonderful.

I got have few posts before i can submit my photo link to all..aarr lol

If you can do the planning/tasting session before your wedding, I highly recommend it. You also get to tour your wedding and reception venues. I'm glad we were able to do that.

My dress is the disney princess dress Belle. I got that from Alfred Angelo. My purple shoes were from DSW.

Oh Amy it looks like your wedding was absolutely lovely!!! I really like the way you decorated the aisle at the WP and the table at Ariel's. I'm so excited to see pictures at Ariel's that is where our reception is too!

Your cake looked really pretty, did it taste as good as it looked?

Your dress and your flowers are beautiful!!!

Congratulations!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your pictures!!!

That was a last minute change of design for the cake. and yes it was very good! It was marble cake with chocolate mouse filling.

My aisle runner I am proud of. Disney charges $1,000. I got a different idea from a past disney bride, her aisle runner was from Event Bella. I got mine there to, designed it and cost me $325!!!

The flowers have purple orchids, violet and white roses and pink spray roses.

Its a cost but if you can take advantage of paying for transportation. We had a very small wedding and everyone stayed in the same hotel except me and the groom. We had everyone together in one limo as the guests took turns seperately taking pre ceremony photos with me and the groom. We did NOT see each other for the ceremony. The we had transportation for everyone to the reception. Then after we had transpo to take them back to their hotels for a break, and again picked up for the dessert/firework party at UK lockside.....again if you can swing it well worth the cost.

We didn't swing for disney characters at the wedding...really big cost BUT Major Domo who brings your wedding rings on a glass slipper is well worth that $600something cost.

And I LOVE the shoes! You've made a memory to last you a lifetime - may you always be happy.

They were from DSW! and thank you.....1st year anniversary coming up this summer...probably be you know where lol DISNEY!!!
