30 Day Disney Challenge: Day #19 Favorite Pixar Film

Monsters Inc! Love it! I love just about all of the Pixar films, but Monsters Inc is one that I have never gotten tired of seeing. When I was looking up memes, I saw this one and it immediately made me tear up:

But there are also so many cute and funny scenes in the movie!

30 Day Universal Challenge: Day #19 Favorite Dreamworks Film

Shrek! Shrek is coming up a lot in this 30 Day Challenge, I see!

30 Day Disney Challenge: Day #20 Least Favorite Pixar Film

Cars is my least favorite Pixar film. At least, I think it is! I can never stay awake through it! I am serious! I have seen Cars 2 and I liked it, but I have never seen all of Cars.

30 Day Universal Challenge: Day #20 Least Favorite Dreamworks Film

I cannot stand Shark Tale! Ugh! It was AWFUL! There are very few movies that I can say that I hate – and I hate that movie! The funny thing is, it’s been so long since I have seen that movie, I can’t even remember why I hate it :lmao: So, I was looking for memes and images from Shark tale to use in this answer and I couldn’t find anything suitable. Then, to add insult to injury, I looked on Pinterest and someone pinned this:

Someone labeled it “Shark Tale” :scared1:   OMG that is NOT Shark Tale! Everyone knows that is a quote from Finding Nemo! What an insult to one of my favorite movies! :headache: :furious:Pinterest Fail!

30 Day Disney Challenge: Day #21 Favorite Disney Sequel
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest! All of the Pirates movies are funny, to me, but this one is my favorite. Plus, I am madly in love with Captain Jack Sparrow!

30 Day Universal Challenge: Day #21 Favorite Universal Sequel

Um, can we say, “ALL of the Harry Potter sequels”? But Harry Potter is coming up way too often in this challenge. So is Shrek, for that matter! I wanted to say Puss in Boots, but that is sort of a spin-off to a sequel of a sequel to a sequel. Say that five times fast! So I chose Spider-Man 3! I really like it when Peter turns into “evil” Peter! This was also the movie that made me fall in love with James Franco! He is such a cutie! I chose Spider-Man 3 because I have never seen Spider-Man 2! Can you believe it? So the Spider-Man trilogy has to be fit in somewhere on my Movie Night list! That and the new Spider-Man movie!

Haha, that second Spiderman meme cracked me up, I love those!

And again, you are picking some great movies- I want to rewatch so many now. :thumbsup2

I thought I was the only person who didn't like Cars! It gets a lot of love and attention but it just didn't do much for me. It probably has something to do with the fact that Larry the Cable Guy drives me up the wall. :rolleyes1

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

30 Day Disney Challenge: Day #22 An Overrated Disney Movie

Well, I’m anticipating getting some heat for this, but I cannot stand High School Musical! I have never been able to sit through the whole movie – I will literally get up and leave. Within a few minutes of it starting. I won’t return to the room until it is over! True likes the movie. A lot of kids do and that is fine, but WHY do they like the movie? I think True likes it because of the singing and dancing. She is my artsy child, so I think that is the draw for her. I am an artsy person myself. I love musicals. I could watch a whole season of Glee in one sitting. HSM, though? Nope. The bad thing is, EVERYONE seems to like it! When we were in HS in 2009, True got lost in a crowd because she ran off to see the songs being performed one afternoon! Sure, the performance was good, but I don’t think I will ever be able to watch HSM…or HSM 2… or HSM 3  To make matters worse, I was searching for a meme for this one and couldn’t find any! People love it too much to poke fun at it! Well, thee was a REALLY bad one, but I’m obviously not going to use that! This was the best one I could find:

No, the songs suck, too :lmao:

30 Day Universal Challenge: Day #22 An Overrated Universal Movie

Men in Black 2! I thought MIB was cute and funny. It wasn’t a fantastic movie, but it was good enough for me to see it a few times. Then MIB 2 came out and people hyped it up so much that I thought it had to be a great movie! Or, at least as good as the first one…no. Just no. I really didn’t see why people liked it so much. It was OK, but not that good. I am curious about MIB 3, but after MIB 2, I think I am going to wait for it to come on cable before I see it!

Thanks, Hope! Yeah, that movie doesn't seem to have a lot going for it.

30 Day Disney Challenge: Day #23 An Underrated Disney Movie

National Treasure! I know a lot of people talk smack about Nic Cage, but I have loved him ever since Face-Off! Yes, he was a psycho in that movie and he was a geek in National Treasure, and people accuse him of playing the same roles the same way over and over& but I happen to like geeky boys! I have liked a few psychos in my day, too, but we wont talk about that now  Nic Cage just seems like that nerdy, know-it-all guy that everyone knows, and he plays that role very well in National Treasure. I love that movie!

30 Day Universal Challenge: Day #23 An Underrated Universal Movie

Sinbad! I read that this movie didnt do well at all in the box office. I really liked this movie! I mean, who wouldnt like a cartoon character who bears a striking resemblance to the hottie who voices him, Brad Pitt? I liked the story and I really liked the character Eris. Its been a while since I have seen it, but I am hoping to find it so that the kids and I can do a movie night! Of course, since the movie is underrated, there arent any memes for it. So, would anyone mind if we just soaked in Brad Pitts beauty? Im not hearing any objections!

Oh, what the heck. One more:

Ok, I really don't like Nicolas Cage but since you gave me two pics of Mr. Pitt I'm not even gonna object. ;)

30 Day Disney Challenge: Day #24 A Disney Movie that Makes You Laugh

I have to pick Monsters Inc., again! I mean, there is a reason that it is one of my favorite movies!

30 Day Universal Challenge: Day #24 A Universal Movie that Makes You Laugh

Despicable Me was freaking hilarious! There are so many cute and funny scenes in that movie!

30 Day Disney Challenge: Day #25 A Disney Movie that Makes You Cry

Toy Story 3! Why did they do that to us??? SPOILER ALERT: I almost cried several times! When Lotso was telling his story, it reminded me of Jessie’s story in TS 2 and that always makes me break down into tears. When the toys were all about to fall into the incinerator and they held hands so that they could all be there for each other as they were destroyed together…I’m holding back tears right now just writing about it! Finally, the happiest/saddest part of the whole movie was when Andy was playing with his toys one last time before giving them away. Oh. My. Goodness. I was reduced to tears and I couldn’t stop crying until after the credits stopped rolling! That was such a touching moment! OK, I need to stop thinking about this and post the funny meme so I can laugh again!

30 Day Universal Challenge: Day #25 A Universal Movie that Makes You Cry

This brings us back to Harry Potter! Every single one of those movies – from Prisoner of Azkaban to Deathly Hallows Part 2 – has reduced me to tears. But now that I have read the books multiple times and seen the movies multiple times, the first two movies have more meaning and they make me cry too!!! “You’re a wizard, Harry.” OMG I can’t take it! He had no idea how much those four little words were going to change his life! Poor, sweet Harry! OK, I know. I need to calm down :lmao:

Toy Story made me cry too Erin! For me, it was really really hard b/c when the first movie came out, my sons were young and we LOVED it, watched it all the time. They were ANDY's AGE! When the 3rd movie came out and Andy was all grown up, just like my boys! WAY too close to home. :worried:

30 Day Disney Challenge: Day #18 Least Favorite Disney Classic

Something about this picture just struck a funny bone and made me howl with laughter! Thank you! We may have to agree to disagree about Lady and the Tramp because friends can do that and I'm a dog person and Lady and the Tramp are my mum and dad. But I do HATE the siamese cats!

Ha!

30 Day Disney Challenge: Day #21 Favorite Disney Sequel

Agreed!

Despicable Me was freaking hilarious! There are so many cute and funny scenes in that movie!

Love that! Have to get Hubs to watch it with me, he's never seen it! Maybe we can squish in another movie night!

30 Day Disney Challenge: Day #26 Favorite Scene from Your Favorite Disney Movie

Well, I have so many “favorite” Disney movies and I have mentioned a lot of them several times already (Finding Nemo, Monster’s Inc. etc.) so I am going to go back to my favorite classic movie, Cinderella. The scene that stands out for me is Sing Sweet Nightingale. I love how it starts out with the stepsisters trying to perform the song! Too funny! And then when Cinderella hears the (bad) music from upstairs, she starts singing along as she scrubs the floors. I love the song and the imagery, but I also love that Cinderella has found a way to bring some cheer into her drab life :goodvibes

30 Day Universal Challenge: Day #26 Favorite Scene from Your Favorite Universal Movie

I have so many favorite scenes from Shrek that it’s hard to pick just one! One of my favorites is the part when Shrek and Donkey enter Duloc and they are greeted with the little music box that tells them the rules and then takes their picture! I love it because it pokes fun at Disney on so many levels! Then, Donkey says, “I want to do that again!” One of my favorite lines from the song is, “Please keep off of the grass, shine your shoes…”

:worried:

Oh my goodness! That would make it even sadder for me, too! It’s bittersweet to see your kids grow up! When Andy was packing up for college, I was already crying because I was imagining Coy doing the same thing in a few years! And that was in the beginning of the movie! I was a blubbering mess by the time the credits rolled!!!

Something about this picture just struck a funny bone and made me howl with laughter! Thank you! We may have to agree to disagree about Lady and the Tramp because friends can do that and I'm a dog person and Lady and the Tramp are my mum and dad. But I do HATE the siamese cats!

Oh, yeah, I literally laughed out loud when I saw that picture of the dog with spaghetti all over his snout! I’m going to give Lady and the Tramp another chance because it has been years since I have seen it, but yeah, I didn’t like the Siamese cats in the movie either. I like that minimalist poster of Lady and the Tramp that you posted, though :thumbsup2 Your other choices are great, too! I almost chose Ratatouille for one of the Pixar questions! I love that movie and it makes me hungry every time I watch it! :rotfl: So many people dislike Lilo and Stitch! I love it, but I agree that the ride is just awful! Especially the SMELLS!!! Brother Bear is an underrated movie! The kids and I used to watch it all of the time, but it never got much play with Disney fans :confused3 I love that Pride and Prejudice meme! :lmao: I’ll have to see Rescuers. I have a feeling my kids have seen it, but I haven’t.

30 Day Disney Challenge: Day #27 Saddest Death in a Disney Movie

That has to be in Finding Nemo when Coral, Nemo’s mother, and most of the eggs are eaten. The expression of pain on Marlin’s face was so real when he saw that all of the eggs were gone and there was nothing he could’ve done to save them or his wife. Then, it was such a relief when he found one egg left! Then, my heart was broken all over again when he named the little fish in that egg “Nemo”, which was his wife’s last wish.

30 Day Universal Challenge: Day #27 Saddest Death in a Universal Movie

By far, it was when Snape passed away! I cried like a baby when I read it in the book. I actually wanted them to save Snape in the movie! I knew that wasn’t going to happen, but I didn’t want to see him pass away again! It was so painful! When Harry was able to see Snape’s memories, I just about lost it! It was so moving.

30 Day Disney Challenge: Day #28 Favorite Quote in a Disney Movie

Well, it was going to be:

…but it is actually a quote from The Incredibles. I have always liked this quote and I was so happy when I saw this meme on Pinterest a few months back, that I pinned it right away!

30 Day Universal Challenge: Day #28 Favorite Quote in a Universal Movie

I know you all are sick of hearing about Harry Potter. Sorry, but it has so many great quotes that it is hard to choose just one. One of my favorite scenes in Prisoner of Azkaban is at the beginning of the movie when Professor Dumbledore is making his speech for the beginning of the school year. He was somewhat gruff in his speech, but he ended it with this quote that smoothed out tone and attempted to make the students feel more optimistic:
