Disney Engagement Department

I have read old dis posts as well as other web sites that mention an engagement office at WDW who can assist with special arrangements. Does anyone know if this office is still operational and how to contact them. I don't think I need to tell you what it's for!

Unfortunately, they are no longer in operation. It was taking too much time away from the wedding/convention department (where the engagement group was housed from).
You can always conatact Gifts of a Lifetime. I hear they do great work, but after paying for her ring I needed to keep the proposal as low cost as possible. We'll be getting our picture taken in the MK Rose Garden by the main street photographers, and before the guys counts to three, I'll be on my knee. I'll end up buying all the photos that are shot, so it'll run me around $40 I think.
There are A TON of other ideas people have had in the past, so I'm sure s'more will be posted.

Thanks hAm53! I'm sorry to hear that this department is no longer functional. What better way to build that guest loyalty and encourage people to be married at WDW than to help them with their engagement there and give them details (sales pitch) on a Disney wedding? Seems they may be missing the boat on this one. Oh well, it seems as though I'll be on my own. And yes cost is a consideration, after paying for "the rock." The photo op is a great idea and I will keep thinking and looking for others.
