Disney employee guest passes...when can you get in?

We will be using 3 Disney employee guest passes and one purchased pass for one day at MK on April 13th. Can we get in for EMH or do we have to be staying on site. And, how do they check this?

Those passes do not intitle you to get into the park for EMH, unless you are also staying onsite and have a resort ID. They usually ask to see your resort ID for morning EMH entry(I rarely do morning EMH, so not too sure about this. I do know that they ask for your resort ID at the TTC.). For evening EMH you need your resort ID as they scan your ID in a handheld machine and issue you an arm band.
