Mt friend just got the the brother brand for christmas, we put it together today and used it. Its pretty cool. She also got the card reader thing you can download other designs into the thing and have it put it on the card. Where else can I find free disney designs like stitch and princess? I have fpound a few only on one websight. I dont even know what jep Or whatever to download them in yet for her. Or how to download them for that matter. I have looked on the brother sight and saw that if she buys a bigger verson (she got 1.o of the card writer thing) that she can digitize anything even pictures, can you tell me how some of this stuff works. Thanks so much, mum

the world of machine embroidery is BIG!! It takes practice to download designs and you have to make sure they are in your format before your machine will reconize them. Most desings online are zipped files so you will have to unzip them when you download them. you can download the program winzip and use it for zipped files.
I have a viking. I download alot of my designs and have a program to convert them. since disney designs are copywrighted you wont find them for free. You have to buy them. I am sure a brother dealer or even Joann's craft store has some of the cards (walmart might even carry them)
if you haev any more questions PM me.

Walmart doesn't carry cards anymore. :( If you search ebay you can often find the cards new in box from some of the online sewing stores on there. Also, if you go to the Brother website there is a search function to find the nearest dealer. Be advised though, the cards retail for upwards of $60. PM me for more info!

I thought I loved my Walmart Brother machine till I got my BabyLock machine. Both are very simple to operate!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, my machine. I got it just before Christmas. Can't seem to leave it alone!

I have an Innovis 2500 Series. PM me if you would like to know where I get my cards and supplies.

I also have the brother embroidery 250D and also the innovis 2500. I really love both machines. If you download use pes for brother. I have used embroidery library for many extra designs. It is a great site to buy off of. I just finished doing designs on blankets, jeans and I will be doing a Nativity set for Christmas for my daughter. Ebay does have many Disney cards. The cars one is great but make sure you get volume 2. It is musch better than the original
Have fun and just enjoy it

Has anyone ever seen any Disney Cruiseline embroidery. I have all the Disney stuff minus the cars, but I have never found legitimate DCL stuff.

I found one lady on ebay who was advertising that the CD had cruiseline things on it. When I asked to see a sample of the design it turned out to be a folder full of bambi stuff. I guess she never actually looked at it.

I would really like to find the DCL logo. We tried putting a jpeg into PE Design, but it did not sew out correctly.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had some cruiseline stuff on a disk I bought off ebay. Not sure how legit it was ;). I passed the disk on to a fellow DIS'er here, let me see if I can remember who it was and maybe she can copy the whole disk and send it to you. :)

Robin sent me her c.d., but I dont know if it was on that c.d. or not. I also bought anoughter c.d. off ebay for $75, and it was almost a waste, but did have a few good designs on it. Anyway I do have some DCL designs on one of the c.d.s but they are at my friends. I can get them tomorrow and look. Most of the designs are not legit I'm sure, but I was suprised to find some that are liget like some really cute tink ones that I am using right now and putting them on towels, but I am leaving of the disney copyright at the end as I think it looks tacky.

Now I know why I could not PM you. Robin gave me your info but put 2 in instead of two.

By legit I meant that I have contacted people on ebay claiming to have a file on their disk of cruise line designs. When I ask to be sent a sample o the deigns in the folder before I bid they turn out to not be DCL stuff but like bambi or peter pan. So I actually meant their claim that they are selling DCL designs is not true.

I'd say more than half the Disney designs I have are ones that someone created themselves not the copyrighted ones. I have found that about half of those sew out ok and they other half have issues.

If you could check I would appreciate it. We are leaving for a cruise in three weeks. I tried digitizing the logo on PE design but I cannot get it to sew out right. Some of the white waves sew out and some stay with no stitching.

I am willing to trade you designs that I have that you may not.

Thank you so myc
