My dh and I are leaving in April for 9 days at POR. We want to do Disney themed Easter baskets for our 22 month old and 4.5 yr old to help build the excitement and serve to get some needed items for the trip. We want to stay away from stuffed animals(we are selling our house and just packed away 3 rubbermaid containers full).

Any ideas? I was going to do some Disney dollars for the older child, but have heard that they won't be in the store until May, and I don't have time to make a trip to the mall if they don't have them.

I saw some cute Disney bubble makers.
I thought a Disney themed coloring book and crayons with travel pouch would be good.
Disposable camera just for older child to take pics.

Give me some more ideas!!! TIA :flower:

Hi. I thought I saw Disney beanies dressed for Easter with bunny ears, etc... That would be cute. My kids love the washcloths that come wrapped up in tiny packaging and then they turn into a regular size washcloth when they get wet. They're cheap, too. Hope that helps.

Happy Easter!! :flower:

Wallmart had those magic pen books with ariel and mickey mouse. My girls loved those! I also saw a disposable princess camera but your kids may be a bit to young.

Disney store had the t shirts on sale, they would be less than 1/2 the price you will find at the parks and may be fun for a basket. If you can find the spinning light up things I got some cheap for my neice and nephew at the DS before our last trip. I think they were like 5.99 at the DS and $15 at the park.

Dollar store had the disney polly pockets on sale, if your 22 month old won't get hold of them my dd's loved them at 4. (serious choking hazard unfortunately).

If your doing candy you could include the princess or mickey mouse fruit snacks or the lolly's on the spinner. IIRC the lollys were at wallgreen and the fruit snacks at the grocery.

Not necessarily disney but how about some goggles or some pool toys?

Have Fun.

I was at our walmart yesterday and saw they had the following Disney them items:

Pooh Bear Crayons .99 (in the scholl supply area)

Disney Princess Crayons .99

Pooh Bear Washable Markers (under 3.00)

Disney Princess Washable Markers (uner #.00)

They also had a coloring pad with Disney themed stencils in the school/stationary supply area - came in Preincesses, Lion King and Pooh Bear

I found Mickey and Friends Easter Egg Hunt Eggs - 8 plastic eggs in a plastic clear egg crate. Each egg contains 8-10 piceces of mickey mouse and friends shapped candy-look like something similar to sweet tarts. The eggs have a Mickey or friends wrapper on the outside, that just peels off so you can open the egg) Under 3.00 and in the Easter Egg section

I also saw Pooh Bear malted milk balls (in the Easter Section)

I bought a couple coloring books in the kids section that are disney related

They did have bubbles in the seasonal area-Buzz Lightyear, Princesses, and Nemo. Maybe Pooh too, can't remember for sure...

Hope this helps...

I was at the Dollar store the other day and picked up several little golden books with Pooh and friends. They also had Peter Pan, The Lion King and a few other hardcover books that I bought to give as b-day presents. DD will get a book in her Easter basket and Mickey will leave her one at Disney in October!!

I was at WalMart yesterday and they had Disney toy packs for $4.00.
They were princess themed or Nemo themed and included a jumprope, paddle ball, a pinwheel, yo-yo, and jacks. Also, they had just princess paddle balls for $1.509.
