Hi,
I know that all restaurants/resorts are decorated for the Christmas holidays in December, but was wondering, in your opinions, which are the most festive to eat at? I've never been to WDW during the holidays, but am planning a trip next year. Thanks so much!

They are all fantastic, be sure to visit the Grand Floridian for the 2 story ginger bread house. We ate Christmas dinner at LeCellier, very elegant and pretty.

Allears have a list of which restaurants are having "holiday" dinner. Councourse steakhouse is one..that's where we are eating anyway!

As far at atmosphere, I have heard Arist's point.

Well just riding the monorail and checking out the gingerbread houses at the GF, CR and Poly is a treat and you don't even have to eat there. Also, Boma at the AKL has a fun gingerbread house to admire. LTT also had a holiday theme going when we ate there last December. I agree, check out Allears for information on holiday dining. Its a great time to be at WDW (can't wait to go back this year).

I agree.

The Grand Floridian is exquisite with it's Victorian decorations and the gingerbread house, and has to be my favorite so far!

The Grand Floridian has a wonderful Victorian themed lobby and the Christmas decorations are beautiful. The gingerbread house is amazing!! I also like the Beach Club lobby, they have a life size chocolate carousel, complete with darby horses. The Boardwalk lobby is not half bad either with their gingerbread version of Santa's toy shop.

I'm so excited to be going around the holidays after hearing such wonderful things about this time of year at Disney! We will definitely ride the monorail and check out all the decor at the different resorts.

I agree with the other posters about taking the monorail & visiting GF, CR & the Poly to enjoy those beautiful decorations. Don't forget the WL. The HUGE tree in the lobby is just breathtakingly awesome! We love visiting WDW during the holidays because of the festive, beautiful feeling throughout all of the parks, restaurants & resorts.

WL overall is absolutely gorgeous, but when we were there last Dec. (stayed at WL and ate dinner at Artists' Point), I honestly don't remember anything particularly noteworthy about holiday decorations INSIDE Artists' Point.... Now, we love the food at AP and are eating there again this Dec., but if it's holiday atmosphere + WL that you want, Whispering Canyon could be a better choice because it is open to the lobby and the unbelievable tree....
