DISNEY DREAMING! A Nov/Dec 2010 PTR *12/9 ~ Hello Again!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE dtd. Last year we went on our arrival day and River and dh were so tired all we got to do was eat at T-Rex and go to WOD for about 15 minutes. I was crushed I looked forward to dtd for a whole year! This time we will go on our resort/dtd day early so I can see everything and I do mean EVERYTHING! I hope we get to see a bunch of halloween decorations.

Sounds like your dtd day will be a blast with all the Christmas displays/merchandise and decorations!

I love all the festive holiday stuff at DTD! I'd love to visit during the holidays one of these years...

While a part of me is hoping to be able to swim at the resort, there really will be a lot of things to do and see at DTD this visit.

We took this picture back in 2006 at the start of September... I think it's up year round?

I can't wait to hit the Christmas store... in August it's tough to get in the ornament buying mood but this time I'm sure to come away with an entire tree's worth!

Love the revision to DTD day! I LOVE Days of Christmas! I spent a fortune in there last Oct! I can't imagine what the damage will be in Dec! Hmmm, maybe I should buy the hats there next month! Then we'll have them before the trip!

I love the Christmas store in DTD! I always walk away with a new ornament for the tree every year. It's a tradition now.

How exciting to be able to see all the Christmas decorations...and even a place for Santa? How cool is that going to be!!

That Christmas display is so cute and would be a great place for a family photo. (Oh and I think the display is up year around....it was there when we went in April.)

Can't wait for your Day 6 plans!!

I love love love DTD!!!! We used to go there to the movies all the time when I lived there. We got a pretty good discount which was super nice!! Of course you can't forget PI when that was all alive..it was pretty crazy on weekends! And the shopping and food oh boy!!!! If anything, I wish I would have eaten at more restaurants but considering I've eaten at every Epcot restaurant, I can't complain!

Hey everyone. I'll be posting Day 6 very soon, but first, tonite was movie night and I wanted to share.


It was Ariana's choice and she surprised me with her pick. Think you know which one it was?





This early in the choosing, I thought for sure she'd go with any one of her favorite princesses, but instead she chose.....

Boom baby!!


A quirky and fun movie to be sure! Patrick Warburton is just the best as Kronk and Yzma is an evil hoot.



Our chain is getting smaller and smaller!

A package arrived for me in the mail today.... no, it wasn't Mickey Mail but it was pretty darn exciting none the less. I was so happy with the pick-a-pearl carriages I'd bought through eBay that I decided I was ready to buy something else.


I wanted to buy Disney pins for the kids to trade instead of taking the ones we already have and instead of buying more starter kits once we're down there. Through a recommendation, I bought a 40-lot of pins and with shipping, it came to $1.28 a pin. Can't beat it!



Just one small problem.



I like most of them too much to trade them.




I was really impressed with the ones I received!

There were some quirky ones....

Anyone know what this one of Minnie is? She looks like a zombie ballerina.... is it vintage or Haunted Mansion -esque? We didn't quite get that one.

I was trying to get a good pic of this to make into an avatar once the Christmas trip was in the books but it wasn't coming out too well.


There were a few there that we all decided was going into the trade pile, but I just might have to get a few more pin lots to get enough ones to actually trade....

There really is so much to do at DTD I'd imagine it would take us a while to not eat at WPC to explore other restaurants down there.... I hope I can one day say I've tried every Epcot restaurant!!

Oh no, I got the carriages a while ago. It had been the first time I'd ever bought off eBay before and it went fine so I 'tried it' again. George was burned once on a package he'd bought but never received so I was kinda leary I guess.

Last week Ariana had originally said she wanted Mulan II. The boys were kinda bummed (Mulan the original would have been fine, but they weren't keen on II) so they were pleased she'd changed her mind.
