Is there a difference between the dream or wonder? We are looking at a cruise and one leaves on one day and other the next. We are looking at a 4 night cruise

Dream is larger.

Dream has the Aquaduck and Midship Detective Agency.

Wonder has Tiana’s Place as one of the MDRs which is a plus to some.

Shows:
Dream has Golden Mickeys, Beauty and the Beast, Believe
Wonder has...I know Frozen, not sure on the other 2.

Those are the main differences.

Just off the Wonder last month. Hadn't been on the Wonder since 2014 Alaskan cruise so it was nice to see all the changes.
Absolutely loved Tiana's Place and Frozen show. The other shows are The Golden Mickeys and Dreams: An Enchanted Classic.
On the 4-night cruise, Frozen was scheduled 3 times: 2pm, 6pm and 8:30pm.

We've previously sailed on the Dream and Fantasy and prefer the larger ships, but each ship has its charms and unique shows/dining.
Have a great cruise!

Dream also has mini golf(9 holes), Wonder does not. Less people on the Wonder, so if you go to Cast Away Cay, there will be less people which is nice.

You wont be disappointed!

Nothing scheduled yet. I am a weird person who doesn’t like New Orleans, so Tiana’s has ZERO appeal to me. When I do sail her I will probably request that one first and then book Palo. Lol.

Our daughter likes the movie, so it is obviously a good choice for our family. Having Tiana come to each table is a nice touch as well.

Tiana's isn't so much overwhelming New Orleans, but really is just a Supper Club. The atmosphere was great and the band played dixieland through 2 sets. Though it probably fits the movie, it also works well as a standalone dining venue. I recommend trying it at least once on the trip.

Dream has Infinity video game room and Star Wars room in Oceaneer Club/Lab (Infinity room is my daughter's favorite)

Wonder is more relaxing to us because there are less people
-it is also easier to get around because it is smaller
-it also has better hot tubs on the pool deck

Dream holds 4000 people.
Wonder 2000.
Actually, the Wonder and Magic have 875 staterooms, so sometimes identified as holding 1750 at double occupancy. Of course, actual number depends on how many staterooms have additional guests, so capacity is closer to 2400 passengers. Repositioning cruises like the Panama Canal (Wonder) and Transatlantic (Magic) might sail with between 1800 and 2000 passengers because there are usually fewer children on board, but Bahamas and Alaska will be closer to maximum capacity.

The Dream and Fantasy have 1250 staterooms, so sometimes identified as holding 2500 at double occupancy. The 4000 number is about right for actual maximum capacity.

Love the wonder and have been on it a few times. Have never been on the Dream.

The Dream is bigger and newer, with more bells and whistles, such as the Aqua Duck water slide, a ship-wide virtual scavenger hunt game, virtual sports & virtual golf, a sweet shop, Star Wars theming in the kids club, and a miniature golf course. It's main show is Beauty and the Beast. It's inside staterooms have virtual "magical" portholes, and most of its oceanview rooms have massive portholes. The Rainforest Room in its spa has a lovely view out to sea, complete with hot tub. It has the gourmet upcharge restaurant, Remy. It's stateroom TVs offer a wide variety of on-demand Disney movies & other programming.

The Wonder is smaller and simpler. It has none of the special features listed above. It's main show is Frozen. Although it doesn't have Remy, it does have Palo (which all of the ships have), which I actually prefer. It has a Rainforest Room in its spa, but no view out to sea. It's stateroom TV has Disney movies & other programming running on a loop, but you can't choose what is on or when.

If you're sailing with kids in the Bahamas, I recommend the Dream over the Wonder for sure. There are a lot more diversions to keep the kids busy.

We've been on the Dream twice and Fantasy once...beautiful ships!!! We really want to cruise on the Wonder and Magic as well.

We have been on all four ships and really enjoy the nuances and individuality of each one. We love the Wonder maybe the best as we have just had some amazing experiences in that ship but you can’t go wrong with any of them.
