Monika, you can count me in for riding on the AquaDuck!!! (Psssssssstttt........I plan on taking several pairs of swimming trunks with me and changing often so the attendant will not recognize me riding the AquaDuck so many times. Good idea huh???!?) I'm thinkn'.........I'm always thinkn'!!!!

I just read on here some where that someone was on a tour at Myer Werft where the Dream is being built. After the tour he left then came back to check on where the best place to view the Dreams float out would be. All of a sudden the big door behind the Dream opens up, and he took several photos of the back of the ship. But sadly he doesn't know how to post photo's on the DIS board. But guys, it's getting closer to the Dream setting sail soon for home port - Port Canaveral!!!!

David, I think it is a great idea-several pairs of swim trunks . I'm wondering who the attendant will have more problems with....the little kids or us big kids????

Tomorrow is the float out....looking forward to that.

Each day that passes, we get closer to boarding the Dream

I hope I can go on the Aquaduck! I can't do the dark tube slides...I get really claustrophobic in those. I'm afraid to breathe in them becaue I'm afraid I'll inhale water. But, I think I'll be ok on the Aquaduck since most of it is clear and I can see if the water is going to splash me in the face.

Debbie...that's me too. I have to see where I'm going. That goes with rides at WDW too...if it's dark...you can forget me going on it....don't like it!!!!

She IS a beautiful ship!! I think the two new ones are going to put the Wonder & Magic to shame as far as the interior goes! That being said, the Wonder & Magic will always hold a special place in my heart! You get the see the new ship sooner than I do! I see you are going in March!! LUCKY YOU!!!!!

Debbie...we are going on a Disney Eastern in February 2011 on the Magic....we were supposed to go on a cruise with another cruise line but we cancelled and decided to do a Disney cruise. The March cruise is for 2012.

So, I have to wait until September 2011 for the Dream.

DUH! Silly me! I just saw MARCH and didn't even pay attention to the "2012" LOL!!!! Well, now I feel better knowing that you have to wait just as long as I do to see the new ship. Just kidding!!!

I know it's a little silly, but I teared up watching the youtube videos of the Dream float out. Especially when I heard "A Dream Is A Wish That Your Heart Makes" played on the horns. If this got me emotional I'll probably be a basket case by the time our cruise gets here!

Terri...you're not the only one....I did too. It's not silly at all.
Disney Dream....she is a beautiful ship...I got goosebumps watching the webcam for her float out...loved every minute of it. I still have the webcam open and look at her every once in awhile.

Well DW & I watched the floatout like I'll bet most all of you did. We laughed, we cried, we jumped for joy!!! It was a wonderful thing to watch. Seriously everyone, DW and I watched the whole floatout with excitment and I'm being honest here DW did tear up more then once yesterday. Not me though...........no not me!!!

Here is a link to a German TV show from yesterday. Of course they are speaking German, and I don't speak German, but you do pick up a couple of words here in there. But they do show some inside pictures of the Dream. Well worth checking out!!!

Well, I have to go and do my excercises on the ol' torture machine. We have an eplicial machine that my doctor wants me to use as often as I can to keep the ol' ticker in good shape and lose a few unwanted pounds. Well, I have lost almost 30 pounds. If I turn sideways you can't see me!!!!! that can't be good!!!!

At the upper right Click on Startseite - Then type in the boc Papenburg and click on Suchen - It will give you several choices to view. Click on Das Disney - Traumschiff Docket Aus. If it doesn't work the first time try again. It took me a couple of tries my first time. Enjoy all.

Not silly at all! I teared up, too! (More than once!) And I'm so glad I have my DIS friends to share in this excitement. My family just doesn't understand (mom, dad, siblings, etc.)


Meyer Werft changed the web cam view and now it's just showing an empty dry dock where the ship was built! I wanna see the ship NOW!!!

Hello everyone and Happy Halloween

Hope you have a great Sunday. No plans here...just relaxing.

David....sorry to say...but...the webcam that was on the Dream...is GONE I wanted to see her this morning and the webcam that is now on is showing the inside of the building again. I watched it all yesterday too...it was so exciting. She is a beautiful ship!!!!!

Congrats on your weight loss...DH and I know what you're going through...DH lost 60 lbs so far and I lost 24 lbs. Good luck to you on your weight loss.

I will go check the website again to see if the webcam is on the Dream.

Here is a link that has some pictures of the inside of the Dream taken yesterday. It shows the artist's drawings and where construction stands at this point. It is getting closer to being finished guys!!!!
