I don't know about 11A, but as of Tuesday, category 11C for the 6/21 sailing was quoted at $1,852.00 for 2 adults. Category 9B was quoted at $2,212.00 for 2 adults. Now this could change by Monday, but that should give you an idea :)

Hi! We're silver and cannot book anything on the Dream until the 9th. I was wondering if anyone has priced the 4 night sailing on 4/24 yet? We're looking for 2A, 1C age 13 in a verandah room (not sure what category that would be b/c I'm confused by the new categories). Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks so much!!

I posted prices in a cat. 8D and a 10A. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2323473
Verandah cabins start at cat. 6.

Anyone price the 8/12 4 night cruise? Looking for 2 adult/ 2 kids prices in the 10 and 11 categories. I don't think I have seen any posted for that date, so I am hoping those cats will be left next Monday.

thanks to anyone who may have info!!

question for someone... Someone posted this information:

8C (Dlx Family Ocean View, 2 connecting) 2A3K $6,555.85 w/ ins, no trans (Deck 8 Fwd)

For the 6/21 5-night double dip... My question is the 6k for 2 rooms? Just trying to guestimate as we are trying to sail with 8, but can't call until Monday so just trying to find out if this is a good quote to use for 2 rooms or if the 6k is for 1 room...

Thanks,
Mark

Dahly, I booked the 8/12 cruise and posted the price back on #345 of this thread. My kids age will be 16 and 14 by the time of that cruise. Hope that helps.

Hi All,

Does anyone know if there would be a 3 day Bahamian Cruise around the middle of June or are there just 4 and 5 day Bahamian Cruises on the Disney Dream? If there are not any 3 day cruises, does anyone know what dates the 4 day cruises are around the middle of June (from the 10th on when grandkids get out of school, want to surprise them with a cruise in 2011 Christmas 2010!). Trying to get a jump on it before Monday so know what we would like to book. Will need 2 rooms with a balcony. (family of 4 in one room, 2 of us in the other room). Any idea on price range?

Sandy

Kris - would you happen to have the breakdown on this for the first two adult prices and the two children prices? We would like to get two cabins on this same cruise, but can't book until Monday, so just planning ahead for converstation purposes over the weekend. Thanks.

Hi everyone, can i ask a question -- i see lots of you in your pricing include no transfers and no insurance..
Can you explain to me why? Do you not use DCL's bus from MCO, do you fly into a different airport?
And, what about insurance.. why do you not elect to get it?

I want to see all angles to see what works best for me..

I prefer to see prices posted without transfers or insurance included. I do buy trip insurance for cruises, but not DCL's. If I were traveling solo I might use the ship's transfers. But for 2 or more people, it's usually less expensive to rent a car for drop-off at the port, and do the reverse on the way back. I would also not advise arriving in Orlando the same day your ship sails, unless you want to take a chance on "missing the boat"!

First two cruises I bought outside travel insurance that was way cheaper. Given I'm going to be booking out so far ahead for the Dream I'm just gonna book insurance with DCL just to be safe.

You are not "safe" by getting DCL's insurance! It doesn't cover pre-existing conditions, so if you or a family member (whether they travel with you or not) become ill or injured between now and the time you cruise, and you have to cancel the cruise due to a related illness/injury - your claim will be denied. You're much better off buying insurance with an outside agency NOW during the time period when the waiver of pre-existing conditions is in effect.

What is the closest airport to PC? We have always (2x we cruised) gone thru DCL for it all.. flights, insurance, and hotel (MCO Hyatt, nite before..) . However, i don't want to deal with renting a car.. just wondering if you flew into a closer(?) airport, can you take a cab or something to the port?? Or to different hotel, closer?

NancyIL- Who do you use for insurance? You can pm me if you want..

Same for me with the insurance -- I found MUCH better and cheaper coverage (including one that would cover for cancellation due to layoffs as long as you'd been with the company a certain amount of time). I think many of the people on here go through www.insuremytrip.com . It gives you a list of different companies/policies to compare and choose from.
