Yay, that's not half as bad as I thought it would be! We thought we could only afford an inside room, but on that price, I may stretch the budget to a verandah!

Was it a full view verandah or a 'porthole' verandah?

Well we finally got confirmed...here's the points I was given for the categories we were interested in:

Category 5a (deck 9 & 10) 234 pts per person
Category 5B (deck 8 & 9) 229 per person
Category 5C (deck 7) 227 per person
Category 5D (deck 6) 223 per person
Category 5E (deck 5) 219 per person

Category 6A (deck 8, 9 & 10) 211 per person
Category 6B (deck 5, 6 or 7-aft only) 209 per person

The points for a 3rd person-adult for all of those categories above is 148. If we wanted to pay cash for the 3rd person it would have been $1,036.

We are booked!!!! Got category 6A, confirmed room and main dining for the maiden voyage!!!

Cancellation policy is slightly different on the maiden voyage....any cancellation 45 days or more out you lose 57 pts per person. Cancel 44 days or less you lose 50% of your points and 7 days or less you lose them all.

Thought I would share...hope that helps someone else.
