Disney Dream - Oct. 28, 2016 - 3 night cruise

Did everyone finish their online check-in? I finally finished mine last night. As a newbie I wasn't aware that the earlier you did it the earlier PAT (port arrival time) you could select. Last night the earliest available was 1:00-1:15. We were planning to get there around 12:30 or so, after our Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. At least we don't have to rush and worry we'll be late I guess.

And any ideas for and interest in meeting up the first afternoon / evening?

Last call checking if people want to arrange a meet & greet for Friday sometime?

I'll be checking here at least daily through Sat., but will then only have a chance to check sporadically since we'll be at WDW!!! :mickeyjum

Does anyone else still feel like they are on the boat? I keep feeling like I'm tilting at times!:sail:
Sad that it's over, but glad we had a good time :-) Sorry we never got to meet up with any of you though.

:tink:Thank you to everyone who shared the excitement of getting ready for the cruise here, those who shared tips, and especially those who brought extra pixie dust to our trip with fish extender gifts!! I had lots of fun preparing mine, and the boys and I had lots of fun checking for little treasures each day! They were all really appreciated! Thank you so much!

That first night was a little rough (with the boat rocking), but once it got past that it was pretty good. It was a shame there was rain Saturday for those who went ashore. We opted to stay onboard, and we tried the Aqua Duck and I got to spend a little quiet time in the Rainforest Room before the excitement of trick-or-treating and Pirate Night. Those fireworks were awesome!

The short 3 night cruise was hard to relax and enjoy - always trying to rush to make it to something, and never seeming to have enough time - especially on Castaway Cay. (We wasted too much time on the bikes - had thought our 5 yr old could have ridden on the back or in a hurley, but we ended up taking turns riding with the older boys. That combined with the kids later start didn't leave us enough beach and sea time.) And we definitely didn't catch up on the sleep we lost during our earlier land portion of the trip at Disney World. But overall it was a neat first try at cruising. We'll definitely consider sailing again, a little longer next time.

The boys really liked Victor and Allen, our servers - especially the Mickey ketchup, magic tricks, and origami. And Osbert left 3 cool towel/blanket creatures for us. The lobster ravioli and sea scallops our first night at Enchanted Garden were sooooo good! Wish I would have requested them again another night. And glad we got Animator's Palette our last night - it was neat and fun, and the boys might have been disappointed in the other restaurants if we had had that one first.

Well, off to try to get some sleep tonight after the mountain of laundry and sick child today!
