Hi,
We took advantage of the Disney + offer and booked on the Dream for April. My kids are now adults(22&26 at time of sailing).
My daughter is tiny so she would fit in the upper berth without issue, but my son is tall. I recall last time one of our staterooms had a pull down Murphy Bed from the wall and it was much more comfortable for him.
Is there a way to find out which staterooms have these? We are in 7644 on the Dream. If it doesn't have one I think I'm going to call and try to get one that has the Murphy bed(if they have them and it's not my imagination)

In looking at the stateroom reviews
https://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/roomreport.cfm?Room=7644

they mention there's a Murphy bed in this room.

Most Category 4 rooms on the Magic/Wonder and some of the Category 4 and Category 8 rooms on the Dream/Fantasy will have a Murphy bed. To be sure, you can begin booking a Category 4 or 8 room for 5 on a future cruise — any rooms that show up will have a sofa bed, a bunk bed, and a Murphy bed. Some rooms have a bunk but not a Murphy, or vice versa.

Any room that sleeps 5 either as a verandah or ocean view. Family deluxe is the name and search for rooms with 5 in a stateroom. That will tell you which ones hold 5 so you can decide next steps.

I called and booked directly with DCL last February. Assured there was a Murphy bed and round shower. Was surprised when we got to our cabin, that there was NOT a Murphy bed. So, read the descriptions and the reviews. I had a cabin picked out and the DCL rep suggested a cabin on the starboard side that hadn’t showed up online. I asked and the bed, she said yes. I should have double checked myself. It wasn’t needed, but I wanted the option of using it.

Yes, always check the website yourself. DCL agents aren't always the most knowledgeable. They get info wrong all the time.

do room that sleep 4 on the dream have 2 3/4 separate beds? either pull down bunk and single sofa, or single sofa and murphy?

Typically a room that "sleeps 4" is a queen bed (2), a sofa bed (1) and a upper bunk (1).

The only DCL rooms with a 2-person sofa bed are concierge rooms. Any non-concierge rooms that sleep 4 will have (at least) two beds that sleep a single person. As PrincessShmoo said, that is typically a sofa bed and an upper bunk, though Deluxe Family rooms may have the Murphy bed instead of (or in addition to) the bunk.
