Disney Dream May 1, 2011

OK, it's 77 and 80 in the Bahamas!!!!! Sadly, in the thirties here at home. I want to go NOW!!!!!!!

Super cute!! Hopefully we can keep the secret ;)

Its very hard to do, but its going to be great to see there faces!!! The boys have been telling me that they want to go on the disney trip for some while since they saw the CD that they even gave me there piggy bank to pay for it there mother and I (God-mother) laugh soo much because they only had $4 dollar in there and they think the $4 will take care of it. =):rotfl:

My friend just called DCL to confirm which night is pirate night, and she was told it is night # 3 which makes sense. I think people had reported it was night # 2 on the maiden voyage but that is not looking to be the case on the regular sailings. This messed up my Palo night. Now I know why night # 3 was the only one offered! You all probably already know this, and I am late in realizing it, just wanted to put it on there in case.

We are booking dining reservations today for WDW after the cruise. :cool1: I can't wait!

Again, I am very new ... do we need to bring pirate costumes for pirate night ? anything else I should know about pirate night ? Thanks.

Another question for anyone who can help ... if we book the Atlantis day through DCL and it rains all day, can we get our money back ? Do we need to reserve port adventures early ? do they fill up ? any other ideas for how you are spending your day in nassau ?

We bring our costumes too :) I don't know much about the Nassau excursions. We went exploring on our own last time...this time we are going to stay on the boat.

My boyfriend and I have the Atlantis Aquaventure and Dolphin Deep Water swim booked for Nassau :)

My BF has been to Atlantis Aquaventure in the past and says that it's amazing! :yay:

Anyone staying overnight before the cruise? I booked the Country Inn and Suites...I requested a room overlooking the port so that I could surprise the kids! CANT WAIT!:cool1:

What a wonderful surprise it will be!!! Don't forget the camera! We have ressie at Residence Inn for the day before.

Thanks for the heads up!! I am sorry that it messed up your plans though. We will probably skip Palo or Remy this time. We definitely do not want to miss anything new with the kids. Maybe next time.

TA MADE OUR FINAL PAYMENT FOR US!!! I can finally say we are locked in!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

EOGREN - I purchased some pirate wear during the after Halloween sale. I still have to add a few pieces but we'll be dressing up.

We are hoping to get in for the Dolphin excursion at Blue Lagoon. We are not sure if we'll do the swim or dolphin meet because my DD isn't a comfortable swimmer yet and then we'll stay for the beach.

Counting down the days!!!:yay:

Made the final payment!!! Still holding out hope that we can "downgrade" from a verandah....but excited to be going!!!!!!

Hi everyone :) We will also be sailing on the May 1st Dream cruise, we can't wait. We have a 3 year old son and an infant daughter who will be almost 11 months in May. We are also sailing with my parents and my husband's parents.

My husband and I have sailed a few times on the Wonder but this is our first family vacation since having kids. We are excited to have the Disney experience with little ones for the first time. We're also glad to have Grandparents with us for babysitting so we can spend some time in the night clubs :cool2:

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Welcome Jennigator!!!

Hi, Jennigator3! Sounds like you have a big group going. How fun! I've been reading a lot about the clubs and they sound like a lot of fun so I'm sure you will enjoy having your babysitters with you. If you would like to join the FE group, visit this link.

There is some updated information on page 2. Just let me know if you would like to join. Welcome to the May 1 gang!

I got our excursions booked today! Woo hoo! I have a question, though. For those who were able to book Palo several weeks ago, were there any reservations available for the high tea? I had heard that it was one of the least popular optional dining experiences so I thought we would have a chance to grab it. However, it says that no reservations are available. I'm not sure if that means it's fully booked or that it's not available on the 4 night Dream sailings. If they are going to have it, I'd like to try and book it once I'm on the ship, but if it's not offered, I don't want to waste my time trying. Any thoughts?

^ Everytime that I have checked (starting on January 30th when we booked ressies..) they have not had any available :-\
