So, on FEs, do you label who your gift is from or is it anonymous?

Also, anyone ever mailed to FE gifts to their stateroom ahead of time, or would you consider that too dangerous that it might not get there? I'm just thinking of space too, as we are going to WDW for 7 days after the cruise, we have to take everything with us - that's a whole lot of small gifts that can take up a lot of space!

I "signed" the labels with our family name and where we are from. I guess you are flying and can't leave some items in your car? There was discussion earlier in the thread about shipping items to the ship.

Thanks for e-mailing the spreadsheet. My fiance and I found it quite funny that under your special notes for each cabin (like food allergies), that there is a note on our spreadsheet line that says "honeymooners: don't linger by the door."!! Haha . . .

Been working on my day off organizing all the fish extender gifts and bags my fiance and I have been working on. A key craft as well as some small locally themed items. As we are from Ohio, look forward to some Ohio themed gifts!

Wow, there's a lot of people in our FE group - 39 adults and 41 children! My brother and his wife who did a cruise 2 years ago said that's about double the amount of folks in their group, so this should be double the MAGIC.

OH NO...I literally JUST found this forum! We have cruised before, but didn't even know about the FE until researching more fun things to do on board the Dream for this next upcoming adventure. My DH & I are traveling with our 4 "kids", and now 2 friends this time, sharing the special magic that Disney has to give.

I was hoping to do this to make it more exciting for them because one of the friends we are taking, is very fortunate to have been given permission to travel with our family & we want this to be as special as possible.

Anyway, if the person in charge could please still send the list my way, that would be great! I know my DD and her friend would love make to make & deliver goodies to others, even if the kids can't get involved themselves in an exchange. What a great activity for them to do on the day-at-sea!

You know, there is a good thing with all these FE gifts! You'll fill your suitcase with gifts and have that much more room for Disney souvenirs to take home!!

Thanks so much! I know that the bulk of them seem "too old", but the beauty of Disney is that there is no real age limit. The extra -kiddos- are so very deserving of the trip, and we consider them one of our own.

We are in cabins 6616/6618...our FE may not be great (I haven't even gotten into researching how-to just yet) and the gifts in return may not be really creative, but we will certainly give it all we've got given the time we have. With just 3 weeks left until school's out, I have been full-blast planning out annual "School's out - Now let's party" party! Ha-ha...whew...help!

Should we notify CMS0526 of this possibility? Technically, they asked right after we closed the list and we told them no. I don't want to deny anyone the opportunity to experience, but if we are allowing another family to participate "if able," shouldn't we do that for the previous family as well? I may be opening a can of worms. I would just hate for that family to read the board and wonder why they couldn't participate.

For some reason I missed that one, I don't know how many extras folks have and don't know if the late ones will want to participate if they aren't guaranteed gifts from everyone. What I could do is put a dotted line across the bottom of the list and indicate they joined after the deadline and that we can't guarantee gifts, but they can join if they would like. I didn't ask that of the others, but since this group mentioned they wanted to participate even if they can't get gifts. I private messaged them to offer the option.

Just for giggles I went to the 4 night cruise after ours. Their meet link only has 8 pages and 6 people on their FE group. Did we get every Disney planner on our ship? I'm not complaining. I think it's going to be a lot of fun and it's been nice to have a community to ask questions to, but I had to laugh.
