Disney Dream - June 9, 2013 - 4 night

I'm dumb. What goes in the middle of that URL?

It's at chip and co dot com /star-wars-weekends-2013-park-map-129064/

It's above.

Well, we had to figure a way to put the other website out there, cause disboards apparently doesn't like them. :(
They kept hiding their url and making the link unusable. :badpc:
Gotcha again w/ the silly smile figures. I'm on a roll now... :rotfl:
Can't wait to :listen: your reply!!!

Well that took some wrangling, but cool. We are still trying to wrap our head around Star Wars weekend. Ryan just reserved to do the thing where they take a 3D image of his head and make him into a storm trooper figurine. Boys and their toys.

I haven't been to Star Wars weekend just yet :/ I always miss it at the last moments! :(

Gosh, what a great idea to do w/ our little girl who's a Star Wars fanatic. I have to look into it and make sure the girl mold is appropriate! I would absolutely love to have both of them as stormtroopers on my desk! It costs $100 per figurine, but WOW, how very cool! :darth:

Can we get a role call on who will be at Disney before cruise (and at Star Wars weekend). We will be at BCV Friday- Sunday with plans to be at HS June 8. Doing Mama Melroses now at noon since parade is at 11 am!

We are arriving on the 5th. Staying at Coronado Springs. We are doing Typhoon Lagoon on the 5th, Epcot on the 6th, Hollywood Studios 7th & 8th. We eat Hollywood and Vine at around 8:00 both mornings ( gives us early access to the park to sign up for jedi training!), and lunch at Mama Melroses at 1:30 each day. Hollywood Brown Derby 6:45 and 5:45. After the cruise we stay at the Polynesian and do the pool there, MK,and Downtown Disney.
Maybe some of us could meet and have a cool drink at the 50's Prime Time in the afternoon, say 4:00. They have great air condition there! Billie Dee Williams will be there during our weekend.

I will be at Disney starting June 3! :D

We arrive the night of June 6 and will be in Holleywood Studios on June 7 and MK and Epcot on June 8. After the cruise we will be back at our time share for another week.

Has anyone done Disney Quest? We are thinking about doing that on the Thursday we arrive back in Orlando.

I have. I thought it was pretty neat. Some people may say its a little outdated, but if you are able to do disney quest during the daytime, I believe it's worth it. There is lot to do in there.

Our boys love Disney Quest...not as much my thing, as I am not a big video game fan. But they have all kinds of classic video games and cool virtual reality stuff. It's air conditioned too!

We are arriving June 4th and leaving that Saturday morning the 8th, staying at Polynesian. Haven't really planned out our days quite yet, this move has me pulling my hair out. Hopefully sometime next week I can sit back and relax and try to get it all done.

We have done Disney quest before when we went in the summer. The kids were 21, 14 and 9. They had fun, but afterwards they said they would have preferred to do that on a yucky day, rather than waste a beautiful day inside. Next time they want to do a water park instead... Just our experience...

Just figured out what to have autographed on the ship. I'm having a beach towel embroidered (on Etsy) with the Disney ship logo and will drop it off at front desk and have the characters sign it. We are also taking a photo mat with coordinating Disney Cruise Line colored pens for the characters to sign. Last cruise, I had a photo mat, messenger bag, and autograph book signed. i'm so excited, I can't stand it!!

Is anyone else taking items to have signed, and if so, what are you taking?

Funny, but my boys have never cared about autographs, photos with characters or pin trading. Guess it saves me from standing in lines!

this is pretty funny... It's the back of an Epcot drinking beers around the world shirt :drinking1

I also like the one that says keep calm and make it to Canada!

How does the pillow case thing work. Do I need to bring our own fabric markers? Do you just put them in a zip lock bag with your cabin # on it?? Can anyone explain?

First you need to have it embroidered, or written in fabric markers the cruise info, you want on it. i've posted our daughter's pillowcase on this thread. It's a big picture, so you can't miss it, or go to http://www.allergyfreemouse.com/?s=pillowcase&x=-1204&y=-425 and you can see it.

Next, I get a clipboard to place inside the case so that when they sign it, it doesn't bleed to the other side. Gather your fabric markers, not sharpies, they will fade. Put them in a separate baggie . Put all of your supplies in a larger zip lock bag with the instructions inside. I instructed them to have all of the characters sign and thanked them for doing it. i also put an extra couple FE's or treats in the bag for the autographers. Last time I put in a 4 bags of Almond Roca for them.
