And one more thing... after the characters sign the pillowcase, go back over their signatures at least 3 times again. This will make it permanent.

Would anyone be interested in meeting by the Mickey pool on the first day at 3:00? This will give us time to meet, go do the sail away party, and get ready for dinner. Also, the kids will be at the pool, where they will want to be. I know some of you will arrive too late to meet, but we can also have a meet and greet after dinner at the pool for anyone interested. I look forward to meeting all of you!

I was thinking that most of us on the boat will be near the pool around that time. I brought up the meet and greet a long time ago and we never decided to what we were going to do. I just put this out there to see if it would work. I hope it does, I would love to meet all of you. We board early, at 11:00. Can't wait!!!

Has anyone simply brought a photo matte to have the characters sign? As we don't have kids, we are not so interested in the pillowcases, but we love to possibly bring a photo matte along - like a 10x13 for a 8x10 photo, for the characters to sign around a cruise photo we hope to get. It's harder to carry in a suitcase, but could be really nice keepsake.

How about we meet at the Mickey pool at 3:00. I'll be there super early and get a table. My husband will have on a light blue AllergyFreeMouse.com t shirt. You won't be able to miss it! I'll have name badges so that people can pin them on their bags, shirt, etc. Oh... and one more thing...I'll have the loudest kid on the boat!

I have one other question: I was reading on one thread, not on ours, that some people smoke on their private verandah! This would be very disappointing and upsetting to me and my fiancé, that if we upgraded our room for the verandah, and there were people smoking on either side. It would make the verandah useless. Im very allergic to cigarette smoke, and it causes asthma attacks in me!

Any experienced Disney cruisers have this problem happen to them, and if so, what can DCL cast members/staff do for you?

I know we had our door open when we were in Alaska and spent a lot of time out there, but it didn't seem like many people were outside much. Fingers crossed you won't have that problem.

Haven't seen it but have one that says running for wine I have worn for Wine and Dine 1/2 Marathon. Definitely would love that. But want the Dole whip with rum from Flower and Garden festival!
