Wow- that's impressive. I have just started my board. It's pretty tame compared to that. I haven't made any final decisions yet, but I'm not sure I want to post my board because then it might give away what I'm planning.

Good idea! I have pinned lots because we have a Disney website. On another note, I'm so thankful not to be on that nightmare ship docking in Mobile, Alabama right now! Can you even imagine?!

My board only has about five or six things on it so it would be much more obvious although I haven't been able to find all the parts for some of the ideas. I've had pintrest for a while, but haven't had a huge opportunity to explore. I'm looking forward to doing more of that.

I can't imagine being on the Carnival ship. My husband and I are taking a cruise over spring break out of Galveston (we live in Central Texas) and right now all I can do is be grateful that we are on Princess and Disney. Of course, Princess is part of the Carnival line. (I had to edit this tonight. That's what I get for trying to type at 6 a.m. while gettting people off to school.)

With all of the Carnival problems lately, this is probably the safest time to cruise! You would think that all of the cruise lines are being extremely careful with maintenance now. Just got back from selling Girl Scout cookies at a booth sale with my troop. Can't wait for this cruise! I'm Thin Minted out!

I picked up some things for the fish extenders today. I'm hoping that by the time the list is finalized, I will have enough parts of things to make everything on my "wish" list.

You are probably right about the time to cruise. I'm just going into it with the attitude that I can't prepare for everything and hopefully everyone has learned something from this experience.

Are they Samoans or caramel delights in your part of the world? We've just discovered that they have different names in other parts of the country. My husband just calls them tree bark.

I feel like I'm posting too often, but oh well.

I just found a link on the main board for a free shutterfly magnet using the code YAYMAGNET. I don't think the code was plural, but if it doesn't work, try that. I got a magnet for our door with a photo from last year's trip to Disney for shipping and handling. It turned out to be about $4.50. It's not huge, but it's another touch.

Note: this expired on the 17th. I left most of the post up, but edited so you wouldn't go through all the work and not get the free magnet.

I'm glad we are checking a bag this time because the sensors at the airport would have a field day with the magnets and pins. My husband doesn't like to check baggage, but since he's started to get on board with the fish extender stuff, I think the checked back will have a large portion of random items. I'm not complaining.

You aren't posting too much. I am enjoying the conversations. I am still so undecided on what to do for FE gifts...so many ideas! I have been at AKL yesterday and today checking out gift shops and trying to find my inspiration. I like the idea of something special for girls vs. boys. Heck, I wish we were going to Alaska. I LOVED the hot cocoa mix ins I saw people had done! So clever! Maybe I need a trip to Michaels or dig out old FE gifts from last cruise for inspiration!

I think that I have a good idea of what I'm doing, and it's not on my pinterest board. Last cruise someone made it for us and it is sitting on my desk. I might do a pirate themed gift as well. depends on how many of us there are.

I think I have things narrowed down, but I keep finding ideas I want to try out. I have some prototypes sitting on my kitchen table that I'm fairly pleased with, but this is giving me the opportunity to be crafty. I always love crafts, but have a hard time finishing big projects. This is a great opportunity to do lost of small things. It's also meant I get to spend more time on pintrest.

Does anyone have any suggestions for excursions in Nassau for grandparents. My family is just going to explore the island before heading back on board, but my parents probably need a more formal experience. Anyone been to Atlantis recently? Are the city tours good? I'm personally looking forward to CC.

There is some walking involved, but the Atlantis tour is quite nice if you have never been there before. Plus you have shady and indoor areas as I imagine June will be warm!

We haven't done the water park, but it looks like a lot of fun. Imagine an 8 yr old would love it! There were many umbrellas and even shade structures around the property last time we were there.

Have you considered adding the water park at Disney? We decided to do the Disney water park because it was so much less expensive than the excursion to Atlantis. I agree that 8 year olds and water parks go hand in hand.

I tried to add it before, but we are doing the Star Wars weekend. Tried afterwards, but we are going to MK to ride Little Mermaid and eat at Be Our Guest again. I would love to give up one day at Star Wars Weekend, or one day at MK, but no one will budge. You're right about it being cheaper. It's probably the right thing to do. Maybe they will come around...

I guess I'm lucky in how long we are down there. We are there for two days before and then an additional 7 after. I envision some afternoons at the waterpark just to escape the heat.

We always dress up for Pirate night. Is anyone else?

My kids will be dressing up and I'll probably pack some simple accessories for hubby and I. My mom loves to sew and she made my daughter a bandanna skirt and a Minnie Mouse pirate shirt to match. She made my son the Mickey version of the shirt and matching pirate pants.

This thread is so slow that I am starting to think that we are the only ones going!

I found a cute Mickey Pirate Dress on Etsy, I think that with a bandana and an eye patch they will be good to go. I found a few pirate hats at Halloween time for my husband, bil, and my Dad. Not sure what my sister plans on wearing, but I do know that her boys will be dressing up as pirates.

I am still kind of undecided on the FE thing, we have a lot going on at home with trying to sell our house and I packed up my entire scrapbook room
Is there a deadline set to sign up??

And is anyone visiting the parks beforehand? We will be at the Poly and cannot wait!

We are staying at Port Orleans for two nights prior to the cruise. We are doing a full day at MK and spending the other full day at the resort and Downtown Disney that evening.

We have never done Disney as a family and hubby is skeptical as to whether he will like it. I'm surprised that he agreed to one day at MK.

We are super excited!!
