Disney Dream June 27, 2013

We (myself, DD17, DD14 and DS11) will be on this sailing and I just wanted to say hi. It is our 4th DCL cruise and second time on the Dream (the first was the infamous "Hurricane Sandy" cruise, which was interesting ).

If I can persuade my daughter to make an FE in time, I would love to join in. If you need to close out the list before I can get that done, no problem.

Christine (Caymanprincess) was organizing it. Did you give her your stateroom number and names of adults/children, and children's ages to add to the list?

I think she responded to your previous post if you go back a few pages in this thread. She referenced a post by LadyRob that has a link to information/details on the FE and how it works and asked for your stateroom info.

That sounds great! My 17 year old was very keen to go on this cruise before she gets too old for the teen club and I doubt I will see much of her either... My other two also enjoy the clubs a lot. We are in cabin 10002. Perhaps we will meet at the sail away party (if I can drag my son away from the AquaDuck!).

Sounds great! We are in #6640. Matt is my 17 year old and Katie is 14. Matt wanted to get back on a cruise again before he was too old for the teen club too! Lol!

Hi, I never got the info (room, names, children names & ages) from her. She said she was interested, but never got back to me or posted since. I did advise that I needed to hear back before Sat. I closed the group at 11:45pm Sat night......

I am very excited about this Cruise, as I am sure you all are as well!

I realize most of you are almost complete or have already completed your
FE gifts, and are wrapping up the final touches.

I realize I have put a "cut~off" date of this past Saturday and truly appreciate your quick responses, and your checking this board frequently.
I also am aware this is a busy time of the year as school is coming to the years end, and everyone starting their summer adventures, and limitation of having internet access and watching the board.

I have a new cruiser who has not gotten me her information yet, and not really wanting to exclude anyone, I am giving that family the opportunity to get their info to me by this evening. If you could be so kind to try and access the board, I will put 1 last update on as we have everyone's Cabin numbers to date.
I will post FE Group Closed, and no changes to any posts if it is the case, I will not re-run the list unless something I missed has been deleted by accident.

I kindly appreciate your understanding!
Your Hawaiian Leis will be delivered to your rooms and hung on the Fish, please wear them to the Sail away party, or even the 1st night, or even duration of the Cruise! Your choice!

Not to beat a dead horse...but my daughter and I went shopping today for FE treats. I need to know. Does any adult NOT drink alcohol/offended by alcohol related items? Just saw a few things in my shopping trips and was unsure about buying certain things...

Last cruise, we brought a few bottles of wine along in our carry-on. If you decide to bring your own bottle of wine with you to dinner, I think they will have a $20 corkage fee added to the bill, but you are able to consume in your private cabin. Don't pack any bottles in your checked bags as they do toss the bags around, make sure its in your carry on. They do have lovely fruity special drinks everyday on the cruise. Oh, and the ever so cute collectors plastic cups!

Anyone in the 2nd dinning? I've done the 1st dining in my last cruise, and found it to all be too rushed, so we are going with later seating. Plus there is soo much food on that ship, its crazy!!

I didn't get anything outrageous, just a little token giftie that could be alcohol related, then my husband said I better be sure I wasn't giving it out to a teetotaler! Eeek! Of course the kiddos will not be getting them! I wasn't really sure what to get, so I hope that I got good things. Does everyone bring their FE in their carry on so they can hang them up right away? When is everyone boarding? I am looking at my gifts and wondering how in the world I am going to get them on board.

Haha, I'll bet you could! Thanks again for organizing this! We are planning on carrying on our own liquor for economics sake!! We are going with our extended family and we are all eating together. Pretty sure we are in the early seating, hope we don't feel rushed, but we have little guys with us that will need to go to bed at a decent hour (yeah, right!) How strict is the no shorts rule for kiddos? This is going to be a battle with my 5 year old, I can already tell.
