Hello everyone! My name is Pikester and I am going on my very first Disney Cruise! I am bringing my Mom with me for an Adult Only Mother/Daughter Cruise. No kids! No husbands! No worrying about their needs so we can concentrate on our own. Don't want to wish my life away but I can't wait until June 24, 2012!!!!!!!

I was on pins and needles waiting for the 2012 dates to come out. Heard booking was going to be on October 20th for the Dream and made sure my TA was on top of it. Got the deposit made, transfers booked and trip insurance is paid for. Now what?

I've been reading and re-reading the Passporter's Disney Cruise Line book. Not a huge help since there is no specific info based on the Dream but I've still go plenty of sticky notes hanging out of it. Lots of hi-lited stuff too! I will be purchasing next years book that is for sure.

Not sure if I want to do the FE exchange. I think I'm going to have my hands full with making sure I have everything I need for my first cruise!

I've been trying to decide which excursions will work for us and if we really want to pay that much to do it. We pretty much just want to hang out and relax.

Never knew there were podcast cruises. Well, maybe I remember reading something about one but didn't think I'd ever go so I just didn't bother to store that knowledge in my head. Since I've booked my trip through a different TA no podcast cruise extras for me. Doesn't mean that those who are booked on that cruise can't meet with us though.

I'm going to try to keep this a secret from the kids for as long as possible (I'm terrible at keeping these things a secret!).
I feel like I already have a million questions but I going to try my very best to wait to worry about details until the cruise is closer!

Hey everyone.....DW (Kat-Kitikat on the boards) just got back from Podcast Cruise 2.0 and we just had to re-book for the other two. It's going to be just DW and I for this one...but we hope to take our 4 children on PCC 4.0 in Dec '12, we'll at least take the 2 youngest. Our oldest will be in her third year of college (although, she's the biggest Disney fan of the 4) and our second child will be a year and a half into his marine corp enlistment...so thinking they won't be going. We can't wait for this cruise....we had such a good time on PCC 2.0 and met so many great people from the boards on the ship...and the special events that DU set up were phenomenal. I'm just a little upset that we only had the one cruise on the Wonder...what a fantastic ship that is..and the crew is wonderful. But, have to better plan for my pirate night costume this time. DW's costume was great...she looked so good in her's...mine was not so great.....but I have time to work on that. FE will be great too. ALso, really looking forward to the two Castaway Cay days, and hopefully the june weather will be better then what we just had for the Dec PCC cruise..although Castaway Cay day was wonderful.
