Disney Dream - June 12, 2011

Yes -- I saw other people holding kids at Atlantis in the encounter. Is that where you are thinking of going?

Yep, Atlantis is where we'll go. Thanks for all the info. I think we'll give it a try.

Double digits! :woohoo:

I just got back yesterday from being one of 23 brave chaperons of the 5th grade 2 night 3 day camping trip to Pine Cove Camp! and goodness i'm still tired!

Wow!! You are brave, but it sounds like a great time.

Teresa, I got them! Thank you! They are perfect! now to get them printed and ironed on! The cruise is getting closer!!!

Rose, yes, it seems we are a day or so ahead of you. the forecasters keep saying that this winter compares to those of 1888 and 1993...both winters brought us March Blizzards. Ugh...don't want that!!! I guess in 1888 the blizzard dropped some 50 inches of snow!! I remember 1993! We were married in Sept of 1992 and were living in WV already. We decided to go home to my parents in Cleveland for the weekend. We had no clue that it was suppose to snow that weekend! We weren't snowed-in in Cleveland, we were snowed out of WV. WV went into a State of Emergancy, so we could not come back to our home! We had to stay an extra day with my folks...which wasn't so bad, but Steve missed a day of work for it. Rite Aid NEVER closes. We had to stop at the store and buy a shovel on the way home since we didn't even own one! LOL My car was buried in the side yard. Thankfully, some neighbors saw us struggling and came over to help! It was nuts!

On that note, I am off to bed where it is warm and comfy! Have a great night all!

Double Dippin' Dreamer....

Hi all,
We booked back in November 2009 but we just paid off our 3 reservations. We have 10 family members going and are booked in 3 inside rooms which are in GTY status. We have all sailed DCL before. It apprears that our cruise is going to be very packed as there are no rooms available to book on the website or by calling. I know that being in a GTY status can mean that perhaps we won't find out what our rooms are until a couple of weeks before sailing but just wondering if any of you have been been in GTY and have received a room# yet. Two of our rooms are 11c and one is and 11b just because that was all that was available when we booked. We have 2 dd's who are 7 and 4 who also have been on DCL before but neither time did either of my kids use the clubs. My oldest was 18mths her 1st cruise and 4 her 2nd cruise while the yougest was just shy of 2 yrs old. Looking forward to enjoying a little adult time however a little timid about leaving my kids in the clubs. We haven't really ever left them with strangers.. no babysittters outside of family. Not sure how they will feel about it but I am sure they will love the clubs and won't want to leave them once they see them.
I don't think I can possibly catch up on all that has been discussed on this thread so far but hope to keep more in touch as the date approaches.

I missed all the excitement of rolling over to double digits yesterday! I can't believe its getting so close~:cool1:

DMMom - I love the logos! Thank you so much for doing them for us.

We are Guarantee and no assignment either. We are a 9B, I would love to get bumped up to 9A but I think it is too much to hope for.

Sorry this took so long. I was not able to get the image into an oval shape without cutting out too much. Let me know if you can't copy these.

This is for the light transfers that require a reverse image.

This is for the dark transfers that just need the normal image.

Thank you Teresa for creating the logo and allowing everyone to use it!
I've never done a shirt transfer before, but I just might try it this time.

:welcome: to you and your family!!! Glad you could join us. I'm Tammy and my daughter Rachel (22 at cruise time & a Special Education student) will be cruising to celebrate her High School Graduation. :cheer2:

Paid off our cruise yesterday! :yay:

The other day my 3 year old said, "I not go to school today, I go on Mickey's boat." He's so excited and can't hardly wait!

Ohhh!! That's so precious! :goodvibes

We're members of the paid off club too :cool1: Did it over the weekend. Just airfare left to get. Really ready for June:banana:

Congrats to everyone that is paid up!:thumbsup2:cool1:

Recovering here in upstate NY from yet another 13 inches of snow fall!:headache:
We're on track to beat all our records. We're in 4th running now of our all time snowiest season. We've gotten 173.5 inches so far. Our norm is about 121 inches and the record winter had 192.1.

My boss wants to beat the record. I told her to stop wishing that on us!
I'm tired of shoveling!

I shoveled, not plowed or snowblowered (new word:goodvibes) all of that:scared1: (with a bit of boyfriend help on occasion)

Please spring get here soon!:flower3:

173.5 inches of snow  Knew there was a reason I lived in Texas ;) Stay warm and I hope you DON'T beat the record!

I also hope you don't beat the record. I guess I'll never have to worry about a record like that living in Southeastern Louisiana!

I still haven't decided on our pre-cruise plans yet. I checked on the Radisson but it is booked up. I found a hotel near the port at Cocoa Beach and I called to get some information about their shuttle service. They said that they share the shuttle service with their "sister" hotel, the Radisson.

I am thinking it is going to be WAY crowded with two hotels sharing the bus transfer. I really wanted to try to avoid the port parking cost!!

We may just stay the night near Disney (probably off-site) anyway, so I can do a little last minute shopping for my DD's 16th birthday, that we're celebrating on this cruise!!!

Anyone staying in Cocoa Beach before the cruise??

FE update. We are up to 21 cabins participating, so I have split it into 2 groups. I am trying to make it so you only have to deliver to 2 or 3 decks and not the whole ship. I will tweak the lists as we add more and as the GTY cabins get their assignments. We need to set a cutoff date so that everyone can get their list and have time to prepare their FE gifts. What do ya'll think would be a good date for a cutoff?
So.....
Is it June yet?!!!!:beach:

I'm so glad that I reserved my room at the Radisson 3 months ago. I also called right away and reserved my Shuttle time (10:00). Only a few more days and I can do online checkin and book my excursions. It's really getting close now!!!!:yay::yay:

When I've done it in the past, the cutoff has been the 75 day before mark (which we are soooooooo close to - - do you guys believe it?!?). :goodvibes
