Here is attempt #2 at a logo. I still would like to add a border or a photo effect to soften the edges, but wanted to see what people thought before spending more time (I know the date needs to be fixed). I have other ideas, but haven't found great base photos yet.

We are Gold members. This will be our 8th disney cruise.

Just got off of the Maiden voyage yesterday. Didn't have a chance to do Palo - they added an extra day for brunch and still had a wait list of over 300 people. The "regular" restaurants were good. I think the food has improved in those from the ones on the Wonder and Magic. The buffet by the pool is much better.

The ship is beautiful and much larger.

I know it can't possibly compare to all the snow you have been buried in ... but we are looking at our first chance of having school canceled due to weather tomorrow. Of course, here in Texas we hardly ever get snow -- but we are expecting ice and a wind chill of 0 degrees.

Nobody knows how to drive on the ice around here, so we do get school closings without even getting snow sometimes. I know my boys would love the day off, but the scheduled make-up date is Good Friday and I would much rather have the long weekend then.

It is going to be ugly. It is apparently the first blizzard warning the National Weather Service has ever had to issue out of the St. Louis office.

We avoided another snow day here (central IA).

Roads were messy but drivable.

I've been reading some of the reports from the MV. I'm truly appalled by some of the greed and dishonesty of people. I can't believe the hoarding/stealing of things to try to sell on ebay. No wonder the cruises are so expensive if Disney has to replace its plates, silverware, etc. It ruins it for everyone else.
DH doesn't want me to spend time on magnets this cruise because he couldn't believe that people took them from the doors. I agree that I'm shocked that people don't have common decency, but I'm not going to let a few bad apples spoil my trip and trying to put in the extra effort to make it fun for my kids.
Is there another family of 3 or 4 with kids with early seating that is looking for table mates? We are hoping to find some DISers to sit with.

Hello Fellow Cruisers!!

Sorry I haven't been around here much. I've been spending most of my free time on the trip reports and general cruise info boards. trying to soak in as much information as I can!! As Beth knows, I have been trying to find out what's available at the Vibe coffee bar, for teens. That's been my main focus for now.. LOL But we'd like to know how much stuff is going to cost, so we can plan for it. I'd like to tell the boys they could charge whatever they'd like, but that ain't gonna happen!

For those of you in the path of this storm, stay safe and stay warm! We have been lucky, this time, and it is skirting to the North of us! Today it was 61!! Tonight we are to get rain, up to an inch in some areas, with thunder and lightening too. Then tomorrow, the bottom falls out, we drop 25+ degrees and the winds kick in, up to 50mph gusts. A lot of rain + high winds = downed trees and powerlines. Not good. Here's hoping the trees can hold on tight! Oh, and it's suppose to change over to snow tomorrow night too.

Welcome to all the new families that are finding us!!! Should be a good time! Undecided about the FE at this point. I'll talk with the family again and see what they want to do.

Marci, continued prayers for strength and healing!!!

My boys will be walking through the door from school in a few. Time to finish up dinner, the "vultures" will be hungry!!

The weather is crazy this year, isn't it. Hopefully will have sunny skies on our Castaway Cay days to make up for this.

I just want to say I love the logo!!!

Yes, I agree about the negative posts and the ebay stuff. I have stopped reading any of the posts that are negative. I have enjoyed ready the postive reviews and what some have said about giving Disney time to "work out the kinks".
It is so exciting to read as the trip reports are coming out. It seems so much more "real" now. Can't wait
