We just booked our cruise!

I wish it would be here sooner!
Laura, sorry for not popping on sooner and welcoming you, but I will get you added to our first page. Welcome to the party!
Every time I see someone post BLT on these boards I forget about Bay Lake Towers and want a BLT sandwich
LOL - someone over on the DVC boards (a BLT owner) actually has a signature that says something like "Experiment 626 finally made a sandwich I couldn't refuse." I chuckle every time I see her post because that is so stinkin' clever.
So, I started a thread (one was started yet) for our cruise date and mentioned that we also have a group on here and gave out our link.
So we may gain some new friends
My link on there is

How cool! I would love a ship full of DISsers!
Anyone ever gone straight from the cruise to a partial day at the parks? Wouldn't be there when the park first opens, but fairly close
I think that if you are fairly realistic about what you can get accomplished, I think that you will be okay. Since it will be summer, the parks will be crowded, but if you know that going in you should have a good day.
As to us, DD had a great birthday party on Saturday. We had 9 kids at our house and the weather was perfect. We did a water balloon toss, the limbo, and we colored sugar and did some sand art (which was a huge hit). DH also made (I already hear you laughing, my dear Ana) a volcano which was another huge hit with the kids. Since the weather was so great, the kids spent a lot of time outdoors and hopefully went back to their parents nice and exhausted. One thing I wasn't prepared for, though, was that the parents of 2 kids that I invited from DD's class (whom I have never met or even seen) just dropped their kids off at the house and left to do other things while their kids were at the party. Maybe I'm too overprotective, but I don't think that I could ever leave my DD with complete strangers without at least first talking to the parents for an hour or so. Still, all in all, it was a fun party. I think, though, that this will be the last time that I host a party at the house for a while - - it was exhausting!! After the kids went home, we hung out with our very good friends and busted out the adult beverages and I was so exhausted by the end of the night, I think I passed out around 9:00 p.m.
Another

moment came on Sunday night when DH went down to our basement to run on the treadmill and realized that our water heater was leaking all over our nice, newly installed tile floors.

So, today, we are going to have to buy and install a new water heater. It's always something, right?!? Thankfully, we caught the leak very early in the process and I think that the flooring will be fine - - which is a good thing.
Well, that's enough for now. I hope that everyone is having a good week so far.
