We received our cabin assignment today. Not sure how I feel about an accessible room, but we'll see. Still might try for an upgrade at the port.

Just got started on our FE gifts! I hope you all like them! Holy smokes only 10 more days!!! We are flying to Orlando on Thursday the 24th and going to the parks for 2 days. We are staying at Old Key West. Anyone else staying on Disney property before the cruise??

We are checking into POR on Jan. 22nd for 5 days before the cruise. We are leaving on Friday and driving down. It is our first time staying onsite and first time doing more than 1 park with the children. We can't wait!


krisgils33 and jrs_mommy, I have your room numbers added to my list. We still have 1 more that I am waiting to hear from then I will do a final FE email.

We are going down on Friday the 25th and staying at the Holiday Inn at Downtown Disney. No parks this trip, just going to relax, play some golf at Fantasia Miniature Golf and hang out at Downtown Disney. I'm sure there will be a lot of Pin trading by both of my boys. They love trading. Can't wait!

Thanks for the tip about the miniature golf! We will need something to do after our flight on Thursday. What else is there to do at DTD? Our resort has a boat that takes us there

Fantasia Miniature golf is by The Dolphin and The Swan hotels. We play a round every time we are at Disney.

We like to have dinner at DTD, either The Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex. My boys love pin trading, so we spend a lot of time at the pin store in DTD. One end of DTD has a lot of entertainment, and the other end has a kiddie train and a Merry Go Round. We really enjoy DTD.

I ordered it from FairyTaleEmbroidery. She had a death in the family and mid Dec told me that she would have it to me before we leave. But I am getting nervous. I don't want to bug her, but am thinking of sending another message to check on the status. I think I might have to start thinking of an alternative FE incase she doesn't get it to me in time.

My FE arrived, and it looks awesome. The pockets aren't as big as I had envisioned, but she did do a great job.

I can't wait until the 27th, although I am not nearly ready for the cruise! Unlike many of you, I still have to finish my FE and my FE gifts. I also need to come up with a pirate costume for me and my hubby (I bought a couple for the kids). And, finally, I am making shirts for my kids that have Mickey wearing a sailor's hat on the front. The cruise will be a surprise for my daughter's birthday and I plan to have them change into their shirts when we are close to the port. Then, before dinner, I am going to take the shirts to guest services to have them signed by the characters. Only, I have to find the time to do all this before the 27th!

Can't wait to meet you all!

After reading all your plans for getting to Orlando early, I wish I had decided to do that. We don't leave until the morning of the 27th. Sure hope it doesn't snow!

We are flying in Friday the 25th and staying at Saratoga Springs. Almost starting to count down the hours

We are flying in on Jan 27 as well in the morning.. praying we don't get snow that day. I will be paying very close attention to the weather, if I see snow, I'm changing our flight to the 26th! We'll be staying after the cruise at Coronado Springs to celebrate Sean's Birthday on Jan 31 and leaving the ship to head straight to the Magic Kingdom to celebrate!

Well the snow has hit hard here in the UK (hard in UK terms that is) and travel is problematic at the moment. The thing I am most concerned about is they are predicting below freezing temps all week, which might turn the snow and slush into ice.

I'm due to fly out on Saturday. I think the flight will be fine (even if delayed a few hours) but I am concerned about the 2 hour drive to the airport. Seriously considered driving to the airport on Friday night now and staying overnight in an airport hotel just to ensure we don't have traffic delays on the Saturday.

I just finished my FE bags and my husband said "I hope they don't eat those!" So I am kind of freaking out. If you get a bag from us, look first before you eat. That sounds weird haha but you'll know what I mean when you get it! Can't wait!

That made me laugh!
I was just reading the crazy thread about Fish Extenders and someone saying the gifts they got were "crap" and it made me freak about what we're bringing.
However, after reading more of the thread, I realized most people are in the spirit of the whole thing and it's not just about how many hours you spent making them (I'm not crafty . . .) or how much money you spent.

We're flying down on 1/26 and staying at the Country Inn & Suites in Cape Canaveral. Our WDW stay is after the cruise. I'm so excited that we'll be in Florida in one week! Trying not to obsessively check the weather!
