Is everyone done with their FE gifts?? I've seen on threads people stealing out of the FEs. I'm a little concerned about that. hope no one steals our gifts we've all worked so hard on. Also, I read we should bring a cable tie to secure the FE. It's almost time!!! (& my son doesn't know yet either, it's his 8th birthday present. He finds out next week! I will record it.)

I tried to make Palo brunch reservations, but it shows as sold out. Should I still try as soon as we board? I heard great things about it.

I was able to get reservation for Palo Brunch. They say that there are resevations held back for people to make on board. I would try as soon as you can to get them. I hope that you will be able to get them!

Everything I have read about Palo Brunch sounds wonderful. It is our anniversary that day and I wanted to do something special. But I didn't want to miss the main dining rooms either so Brunch works.

Happy anniversary!! I hope it works out for us! I almost want to register my littlest for the nursery just incase. Is there a standard brunch time?

They hold back reservations, so there is definitely availability. I would go as soon as you board and try to make a reservation. Brunch is my favorite, but dinner is awesome too, so I recommend you do at least one of them!

I love both of those stories! I would love to surprise my husband with a cruise one day. He is very hard to surprise though.

I have heard about people stealing FE gifts and kids taking magnets from doors, but I have never witnessed it on any cruise I've been on. We usually do alot of magnets and no one has ever tampered with it. My daughter has requested that this time we go easy on the magnets...I think I'm disappointed.

Finally finished making my FE and some of my gifts. Others are ordered from Etsy. Hope I don't have the same problem some of you are having with the FEs. Getting close now!

I ordered my FE on Etsy from Bulldogs & Butterflies (??) received it this week & love it!

Wow! I wish I would have known her trend before ordering. Guess I should have checked up on her more. How close to your trip did you end up getting it?

We got ours the day we left. We were driving to Orlando and thankfully we were running about 6 hours late or we wouldn't have had it!

We didn't have a problem until our last cruise in December. We only received about half of our FE gifts. We were close to the elevator and it was a full boat. There were also a band of roaming teens that a lot of people on the ship were having problems with, and our room steward said they stole things off his cart a couple of times.

With that being said, we have participated in two other FEs and had no problems with those!

We have a GTY interior room and still don't have our room assignment yet. I keep checking everyday to see where we'll be, but nothing yet.. getting close to sailing time! Ready to get away from all this snow we have in Ohio!

Have an IGT and still waiting for cabin assignment. Sigh...

We have an OGT and still no assignment either. I had hoped by now, but also hoping that the longer it takes the more likely there will be an upgrade. Wishful thinking???

Just now starting to figure out packing, etc. - we Florida residents have the luxury of being a little haphazard and last minute! It's been a long time since we've done this with a baby...does anyone know or remember if DCL charges extra for milk? Wondering if we should go ahead and switch to milk or if it makes more sense for me to pack formula and water bottles...

Ack! It's so soon! I'm finished with our gifts, and my girls (6 and 7) sewed our FE! They did such a good job! Now we just have to wait for the 27th!!!!

Finally received our cabin assignment today. No upgrades but we are quite happy with the location! Counting down the days!
