Hi! Just booked this cruise for our girls' (16 & 12) Christmas present. Thinking of doing a few days after at WDW. Can't wait!!

We are taking our 3 sons and their families (7 grandkids) on this cruise. First cruise for all of them and our first Disney. I am excited to see their faces!! We will be celebrating the youngest 4th birthday, and our 40th Anniversary!! Can't wait!!!

This will be our first Disney Cruise and we're so excited. Going to celebrate my 40th and my grandma's 90th birthdays! It will be my mom, grandma, DH, DS, DD and me! Can't wait!

Hi there! We will be cruising with you on the Dream! It is our second Disney cruise and we are really excited! Our first was the Magic over Spring Break and we had the best time. Our group is my hubby and I, with our daughters 8 & 5. Also have adjoining rooms with my SIL and MIL. On our last cruise we had a FB page for plans, if anyone does that let us know, the FEs were also lots of fun. If you are interested, I made tons of notes & tips when we got back from our first cruise if you are interested, I can email it to you. My wife and I just booked for this cruise. We are heading to WDW the week prior to this trip and thought it might be nice to unwind after our land trip. This will be our 2nd Disney cruise with our first being the Disney Alaskan cruise. We would love to join in on the FE gift exchange on this cruise.

We will also be in this cruise! This will be the eighth Disney cruise for me and my boyfriend, and the kids are a couple behind us. We will be celebrating the oldest boy turning 21, but trying to go before the middle boy turns 18 and can no longer enjoy the teen club. We also will have a 13
year old boy and a 10 year old girl. So a total of 6!

We will be participating in the FE exchange. It's always one of the best parts of the cruise for us. We can't wait!

People still book cruises at that far out and I've helped organize FE exchanges that are three times this size that we closed down no more than 2 months before the sail date and it's always worked fine. At that point we would see how many people there were and then break them into more manageable groups. Everyone should be able to enjoy the FE exchange unless they book very last minute. Just my two cents.

The first FE group was actually closed in August-when it reached 15. Another group would start if there was enough of an interest.From my understanding the person organizing the first only wanted to manage one and would let another person manage the new group.

Actually the first group opened in April and didn't close until August, so I'm not sure where you're getting 9 months from?

Anyway, I agree that everyone should be able to enjoy the FE exchange, and I'm happy that you're starting another group to help with that. I personally did not want to be in charge of a large group, so that's why it was limited. I've put information on my list that if anyone else wants to participate to come find this thread and contact you. Hope this helps.

Hi! I'm excited to be planning my family's 1st trip to WDW, my first Marathon weekend AND our 1st Disney Cruise! Due to the logistics if marathon weekend and such, all my planning has been land based this far. I'm finally at a point where I can focus on orepping for the cruise as well and yet feel I may be very behind already :-(
My main question for today is, what are Fish Extenders and is it too late to get involved? (I only learned of such a thing today). I saw something about a FB group existing but have no idea how to find it. Any tips and suggestions you can send my way would be most appreciated

As far as the actual fish extender goes, you can either make them, or search for them on eBay or Etsy as lots of people make and sell them
