Disney Dream Inaugural Cruise 1/26/2011!

Sorry to see we missed the FE cutoff, but I'm still planning to bring a little surprise for everyone on the roster. If there are people who only prepared a limited number, no worries. It's all in good fun! I just like hanging our FE to remember back to that first WB Panama Canal cruise in '05

I'm a little bummed I won't be able to make up my typical photo scavenger hunt, but I kinda have to take photos of the Dream before I can do that. Just wait until the next Dream cruise! Although I have a feeling I won't be the only one going around taking pictures of every little thing. I usually feel a bit out of place, but I don't think that will be the case this time!

I've added other families recently...the only thing I tell them is that I cannot guarantee a 'full' FE being that some people purchased FE items based on the December numbers.

On the news they just said there is snow in 48 out of 50 States right now! Glad to hear FL is not one of them. Hope it stays that way! I could use some warmer weather! But really as long as I am on the Dream, it doesn't matter!

Ken... it's going to be even funnier when all of us show up with the FPs. The CMs will really begin to wonder if this is something they weren't told about, and then they will let us all go to the front of the line!

With all the snow and cold we've had this winter the Dream is the only thing getting me through. This will amuse all the people accustomed to winters like this. One of my friends moved from the south this year and it's his first winter here. The other day he says, "Well at least winters almost over. It's already January 10th" I felt really bad breaking the news to him that winter is just beginning and we could have snow well late March or early April

Can't believe we leave a week from Saturday for WDW!

Sarah thanks so much for the offer of joining the FE. I will pass this time around as I have never taken part in one before and not sure really what it involves - and really time is short here for me to get things organised - with a little over a week before we fly out, and a fulltime job to trudge thru before I can come play!

but some background info on how a FE works exactly would be great, for future cruises!

I must admit, we have never been a part of a group like this either and we think you all are really great !! Thanks for making this cruise so great and we haven't even set sail yet. We are doing something we have never done, we are spending the winter in Florida and we arrived here December 28th. It is cooler than normal but lots better than being in the snow home in Delaware. Only one glitch in our plans. I asked Disney to send our cruise documents to my cousins house since we aren't home and I accidently wrote their address as 101 instead of 102 . Well, turns out there is no 101 so the documents were returned to Disney . To get them to resend the documents, my travel agent told me,we have to pay Disney an extra $50. That was a surprise,but nothing can ruin the excitement we feel for this trip. So glad to be part of such a great group. Thanks for all your hard work to make this a special cruise.

Thanks. Flying into Papenburg and spending the day with Captain Tom, and Mr. Meyer and, well the list goes on and one was definitely one of my top Disney highlights.

We were so overwhelmed with the actual size of the Dream. It was incredible to have pics of us on the actual ship before she was finished. I am going to try and go back to a couple of those spots on the ship and get pictures now that the ship is complete.

Also, if you go by my door you might just see a couple of magnets with pictures of the Dream that I didn't post.
