Peter,

Thank you for keeping up with this as I'm sure it was no small task. We appreciate your hard work.

Thank you also to Ken for your work on the lanyards. I still wear the one I got on 2006 Southern Caribbean!

My thanks to everyone for making this cruise special:

Scott and Lynn for the pre cruise Bar-b-Que
Linda for the group photo set ups and the mini navs and aqua duct passes
Sarah for heading up the FE
Mary for linking the dining
Michelle for heading up the DVC photo

And everyone else who helped in any way, thank you!

This is a great group to be cruising with and we're very excited to see/meet you all.

Oh Wow what a huge thread - I haven't read any yet, just popped to the last page to intorduce myself.:thumbsup2 But I will go back and read.

My name is Jojo, and I am cruising the dream(lol sounds like a self help group intro!):rotfl2:

with only 11 days until we leave for the states I guess it it a little too late to get to know you guys properly and fully join in with events on the ship with you all, but at least I have another home to share my excitement with.

So I am sailing with my DH (Rob) and my DD 9yrs and my DS 6yrs who just cannot wait to get back into the kids clubs:rotfl: Our adventure begins on the 22nd when we fly from London gatwick in the UK to orlando for a fun filled few days before really having the best adventure ever!

Not sure of the cat room we have but its a family deluxe with verandah on deck six midship - I think! Its going to be fab as we normally cruise deck 2.

Thanks to Michelle for inviting me over to join - now I am off to read all about you guys and your plans.

Not long now...............:yay::woohoo::dance3:

:welcome: Jojo and family! You can certainly go back and read all the post but to get caught up in a hurry, just click on the links in Hygiene99's post. That'll bring you up to snuff real quick!

Welcome aboard!

Have done that thanks - wow how organised are you guys? wish I had joined in sooner - ah well. But I will definately be looking to join a meet group for the Alaskan cruise in Aug and also for the NYE cruise and of course not forgetting the MV for the Fantasy woohoo we are booked:banana:

Alrighty,
I have to ask... how formal are most of you guys/gals planning to be during the fancy dinner?

Usually for a 4 day I don't even bother with fancy dinner attire (and my level of fancy would be a dress or some sort... :lmao: ). But since this is an MV should I suck it up and bring a pretty dress? Not ball gown or anything, but like LBD kinda thing?

ps: Hi everyone! Sorry for joining the fun late... but I really hope to say hi to some of you on the boat! :wave2:

Jojo

I can still get you on the Lanyard list - just need first names of everyone in your group.

Ken

I am planning on bringing a shirt and tie for "dressy" night, and wifey will bring some type of sun dress or black dress. Rest of the nights I usually just wear pants and golf shirts.

Welcome Jojo,
We were in London for the first time last April and flew out of Gatwick to Orlando. Unfortunately we were only there for an overnight stay (we were coming home from Italy) I absolutely LOVE London and want to go back for a longer visit.

It is supposed to get down to 45 degress tonight and 37 tomorrow night and our high is only going to be 58. I know you northerners think that isnt too bad, but for us Floridians its like being in the Arctic. I know we are also supposed to get another cold front coming through over the next 2-3 weeks. I hope it isnt right around cruise time.

My name is Beth.
I've never posted on this thread, but have been following the excitement for a while now!!
We're leaving 2 weeks from today and can't wait!!!!!
It should be quite a different cruise experience (in a good way!) since it's a maiden voyage with so many repeat cruisers. Lots of us know our way around Disney boats, so this will be familiar but new at the same time!
Looking forward to cruising with you all!!

Have to say that I love getting dressed up so I will be bringing a cocktail dress for dinner at REMY and who knows what else as I have not finished shopping yet:goodvibes

Welcome Beth!

I too love to dress up, since it is very rare that I get to. So I will be brining a cocktail dress for Palos.

I am bringing fancier stuff than I would on a 4 day Wonder cruise....since it is the MV and all!!!

MJ

Thanks everyone!
I figure I really should bring a fancier than normal dinner dress for me too.
Hopefully it'll still fit after all the cruise food  !

JoJo! You found us! Welcome! And you, too, Beth! the more the merrier! :cheer2:

I'm bringing slacks and blouses for most nights that I'm planning on dressing up with nice jewelry. If it's warm enough, I'll wear a skirt on pirate night, but don't mind subbing in slacks that evening if it's too cool...

Is it just too sad that I'm already too excited to sleep and stay awake mentally repacking my suitcase and carry-on???

First off, welcome to all the newbies here!

I am packing a LBD for the fancy night and the rest of the nights I will be in sundresses of sorts. Also packing capri's. Kind of tired of packing and dressing in pirate gear for pirate night. I still have to think that one over.

For sure Im going to wear the tux (just because) for dress up night and the wife will wear a cocktail dress.
Its the only chance I have to wear the tux usually unless Im doing a orchestra gig. ;)
We like to dress up but hey whatever floats your boat.
See everyone onboard Tim:cool2:

Sandy, I gave up on Pirate costume because of bag restrictions, now I just pack pirate t-shirts and silk scarves that we tie around our heads, and some jewelry.

For those of us going to the BBQ at OKW - what are we going to need to tell the guard to let us in?
