Disney Dream Inaugural Cruise 1/26/2011!

So on the 23rd our documents arrived. I also got a second set of documents Fedex'd to me with my name on the Fedex package but inside there were documents for a couple of people coming from Brazil? So I called DCL and they told me to open them to find out the name. Turns out they have a way better room than we do. So I told DCL I thought it was only fair we got that room and they got ours (but they didn't go for the idea)

I managed to hide our documents and on Christmas morning, I surprised my wife and daughter with the tickets along with new costumes for Pirates night. After a 15 month secret I was finally able to tell them. I think my daughter (10) was more excited about the new pirate costume than the ticket, at least at that point.

Hope everyone else had a great Christmas. Now looking towards the busiest night and day in Niagara Falls, New Year Eve and Day.

After going over some older posts this one brings a question to mind. I was on the Wonder when the Oasis of the Seas 1st pulled into Nassau. The Government made a big deal of this. There were government officials, marching bands, other music and festivities. If the Dream has already been to Nassau will we miss out on this little bit of added excitement?

Yes, that is me! Samantha and her sister Allison are both really wonderful, and it was great to get to go down there to see all the planning take shape. Would have stayed for the wedding itself, but had the "day job" getting in the way, and had to go off to a sales meeting. But it was even more fun that it looked!

Thanks, and hope to meet you on the boat! I will be wearing my Disney Moms Panel shirt on there for sure!

Have you guys got your documents yet? We thought being outside the US ours would come later but the other Kiwi family got theirs 3 days agao! Am thinking of emailing Disney to see if they are tracked? We will see you at the BBQ with our kiwi food

Yes we got ours before Christmas .. I wish I could hurry yours along too!
Ours arrived by Fedex so as far as I know, that is a trackable service... a call to them can't hurt anyway.

What Kiwi food are you bringing? We're bringing traditional British chocolate and sweeties .. Cadburys (the proper stuff) and some other goodies that will rot your teeth and pile on the pounds!!
