Just got an email from DCL about ordering gifts and such and they talk about the limited edition merchandise.....here is what they said:


Disney Dream™ Maiden Voyage Limited Edition Merchandise
Disney Cruise Line has created a line of collectable keepsakes including limited edition pins, ear hats, jewelry charms, art & collectibles created by celebrated Disney artists and more! Due to the popularity of these limited edition items, Guests wishing to purchase must enter into a Random Selection Process. Prior to sailing, guests of the Maiden Voyage will have the first opportunity to participate in the Random Selection Process. To learn more, click here.

I just got the email as well, and I am semi disappointed in the selection of stuff. I hope they have more on board (t shirts, magnets and such). Also, only very few things even have the dates of the trip on them. I love the painted tile, but no way i can shell out 800 bucks for it if i was lucky enough to be picked.

I got the email as well. I registered for some pins but if I had cash to throw around there would be a few things I would like. I'm with you, jlwhitney, I want the tshirts etc. I read somewhere that there will be one store devoted to Maiden Voyage merchandise.

Got my email and sent off my requests! Oh I hope I get the Mouse Ears and the super cool framed piece of steel!

I was surprised that some of the items are limited edition. Several of the pins at the bottom are open stock.

I sent away my requests but I only put in for 3 items, 2 pins and the vinylmation set...not too much I was interested in with my budget....but...if money were no object I would get the paper cutout of the Dream...that is nice!!!

I am also looking forward to t-shirts, beach towels and other sort of stuff for the Dream....

My guess designed for the first so many cruises. Which is probaly way more of it says that then just maiden voyage.

There's what....2 or 3 cruises BEFORE ours so I guess they have to lump them all together.

I expect they will sell the inaugural cruise merchandise for the first few months of the Dream sailing, at least, like they did with the merchandise for the Magic. All that first year they gave out inaugural pins and sold inaugural merchandise.

I too received my email today and checked out the merchandise. I only requested a few pins...I really want a Disney Dream scrapbook and scrapbook kit...and a Dooney & Bourke DCL purse ...hopefully there will be some available on our cruise....was anyone else surprised to see that Premium Annual Pass holders are eligible for a discount off the merchandise? If they offer the PAP discount in the shops onboard...I will be doing the happy dance

Is there anyone really good at this RSP process...as I have several questions? There are 3 of us in our room and I was wondering if we all 3 want a certain item, do we each fill out 1 separate 1st RSP, one under each name? Also, If I am awarded an item in the RSP process, but when I see it I don't want it, what do I do? Do I have to buy it? I am a Platinum cruiser, but have never dealt with this. HELP!

I had to remember how to work our scanner (which reminds me I need to get my PAP off the thing and put it away). It was a nice surprise though.

I just wanted to send out a warning to my fellow cruisers....it seems that people that are not on our cruise are keeping an eye on our thread and since the link was posted to the maiden voyage cruise merchandise that was available...I have received 2 PM's tonight from people I do not know requesting I order some items for them.
