Any thoughts on how the FE is going to be organised yet??? On the WBTA we're in groups of 15 and that's very manageable - wondered if anyone had considered that here...? Anyway, better get off the DIS as still a lot to do...

See you all real soon...

Right now I'm gathering cabin numbers, adults/chidlren counts, ages, special notes, medical special notes, etc. As I'm gathering that information I've been arranging it by stateroom. I was thinking that maybe, once we see how many people we're going to have, that we could break it down into groups. I'm thinking the best way may be to have it so that each group would have a combination of decks. Say group one had 5 cabins from deck 1, 5 from deck 5, and 5 from deck 10 for example. This is my frist time organizing and participating in the FE so any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

We were on the trans in April too. We got a free litho delivered to the stateroom, and I thought everyone got one but maybe I'm confused again :rotfl: It was Villians themed.
I just looked threw all my disney stuff and found it, it is all the villians gathered around the mirror which is a port hole
:thumbsup2

I might be confused but I thought that we were just going to get a list of those wanting to participate in the FE for the MV and that we could give to all, some or nothing? I did submit my name for the FE list but has something changed since then? I already have over 100 FE gifts to give away to everyone, 50 or so to those I know a little and 25 to those I know well.

Thanks for any new info.

We're just throwing around ideas about the FE, as to whether or not we should divide the list. Dividing the list would ensure that everone (each stateroom) would get something. This is my first time participating so I'm not sure how it's been done in the past. I'm open for any ideas/suggestions, and I'm game for pretty much anything. In the end, It's my understanding that you can give as much or as little as you desire.

What we have done in the past is get groups together for giving gifts, not for separate groups to exchange. In other words, I might join with two to six other cabins and we pool our resources together to give one larger item and then split the rooms we have to deliver to up. I don't want to be divided into groups being suggested that I only give gifts to those in my group, but grouping for giving and distributing to all isn't a bad idea (on an individual basis of course - some may want to do it alone and give to everyone).

Must agree with Tracy. This is working out well on our other "big" cruise.:cutie:

It's been alot of 60 hr days and 10 day work weeks. :rotfl2:

On top of moving the last of the stuff from New Orleans to Orlando!

We needed a break and just couldn't wait any longer!

:lmao:

I just give a FE gift to every stateroom on the list and Jamie and I split up the list and we run around for 15 minutes to deliver. (probably will take 30 minutes on the Dream).

I always bring extras and if I walk by a stateroom that has a FE and they aren't on the disboards list I give to them too, because I don't want to haul anything back home.

We have had individuals on the FE list who have grouped together and got a nicer gift (i.e. white memo magnetic boards for each stateroom door) and they got together on their own and one person ordered and got and the others paid their share to help with the additional expense.

Both methods have worked well.

I prefer not to have groups and be assigned as to whom to deliver. Too time consuming for me.

That's my two cents worth, but with inflation, probably worth a dime now.

Thank you winotracy and others for clearing that up for me as far as the group thing with the FE. I wasn't thinking that we could just exchange with a group; I was just thinking that we could divy up rooms--or as you said, get together as a group.

I'm so excited for the cruise! I can't believe it's only a little over 4 months away!

So I had to share my excitement... I have been thinking and thinking over the last few weeks as to how to extend our vacation (since 4 days just isn't enough in January). I think we have decided to do a b2b dream cruise! I had the day off and went to talk to my travel agent.... well she called in for reservations and their computers were down :( just my luck. But I have tomorrow off too... so we'll see what happens! Have a good friday all!

Good Morning Team!

I agree with Tracy about FE exchange - we do something small so that we can give to everyone. We also sometimes get together with others for something larger for everyone.

Have a great day all!

Hi
Being an obsessive planner, just wondering if we will close the FE list at some point? On our Med cruise, we did it about a month out....just thinking that with Christmas, etc, it might not hurt to do it a bit earlier?

Can't believe the cruise is getting so close.....I wonder what other details they will release before Platinum/Concierge can do their online bookings?

I am not doing FE's but this sounds like a good idea......

Closing the FE list is probably a good idea. Is a month out too far in advance? Should we close it earlier?

I think what I'll do, once the time gets closer (or earlier if people prefer---please let me know), that I'll post it. Then everyone can decide if they want to get with others, etc.

Speaking of posting the list, does anyone know if there's a way to import an Excel file? What would be the best way to post the list?

Hi,

We would love to have the lanyards and be part of anything that is going on. I am busy working on magnets for our door. We have a Handicapped Accessible Room #5552 and would love to be part of the tour also.

This is our 6th Disney Cruise (4 on the Magic, 1 on the Wonder). We just did a Holland America Panama Canal in April and while it was nice, we are so Disney, something was missing.(our only non-Disney cruise)

Our names are Ira and Peg Lunt from New Castle,Delaware. It is be just the two of us. In May we celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary.

We are total Disney nuts. We are annual passholders and have decided for the first time ever to stay in Orlando for the winter. We are getting there on December 27th so we can see the Candlelight Processional at Epcot and see Disney while it is still decorated. Can hardly wait till we get there!!!!!

Looking forward to meeting everyone. If I left out anything, let me know.
