New Pool Entry Requirement? Share Wristband Experiences by Resort!

I dislike locked bathrooms , Virgin Voyages was horrible with this, it was like the lotto if the public bathrooms were open. It was a big ship to keep having to go back to your room.

I have sailed Valiant lady twice and never found locked public bathrooms!

Glad I didn’t have to trek back to our cabin!!! lol

The VGF Beach Pool had wristbands today for adults. They were checking at the gate near the lobby building and then going around to others who came in other gates to make sure you were staying there. Didn't notice anyone getting kicked out but a few people were turned away at the gate. Haven't seen this up to this point so maybe it's only a weekend thing.

Not sure if they did anything at the Courtyard Pool (they weren't first thing but we moved to the other pool when it opened). I would think they would police both pools but maybe they only care about the Beach Pool since it's smaller.

thanks for your report!!

I never understood the whole pool hopping thingy.

If I’m staying at BWV, BCV, CCV or any other DVC resort I already have access to a nice pool, why would I waste time and transport myself somewhere else to try their pool?
This goes back quite a few years, but one of our reservations about purchasing DVC was that we wouldn't be able to enjoy the volcano pool at the Polynesian, for example. (Obviously, this was before there was a DVC at the Polynesian). So, the guide had an answer for every doubt we had. :)

But, you're right--we've never pool hopped as it is more convenient to swim at our resort. And now, there are so many DVC places to stay on points that one is not really shut out of the awesome pools.
