No, Lynn's point was that once it comes final payment time (in October) we will see some cancellations. A few less with this cruise with the non-refundable, non-transferable deposits, but there will be some.

It really is fun to come back to your stateroom and find a "delivery"! Even my husband got into it.

So just what exactly is a “fish” and just why does it need “extending”? Well… The “fish” is a combination wall decoration/ornament and message clip that is attached to the wall outside every cabin on the Magic & Wonder. The CMs (that’s “Cast Members” for the newbies) use them to leave messages, official forms or invitations for the occupants of the cabin as needed. It’s kind of like a glorified fridge-magnet.


A “Fish Extender” is any thing that you care to hang on the fish. Literally anything will qualify, but in general, they are usually some type pocket organizer similar to a shoe caddy or mail organizer. They can be as simple as a canvass bag or as complex as your imagination cares to stretch.


Okay, link just shows a no-sew FE. But, this will help give you the jist of the FE.

Thank you Tracy - that is exactly what I was trying to say! We book on DVC points, so I never really know when final payment is due - I have just seen a trend of "sold out" cruises suddenly having space closer to cruise time.

Question for all you experienced cruisers,

DH Andy will be celebrating his 60th birthday on the cruise. I want to order the birthday celebration package from DCL. Do you know if they have the decorations all put up for you when you arrive at the room, or do you have to put them up?

If I have to put them up anyway I might as well go to the local party store and bring them with me. Buying them from DCL will be more convenient if they do they work!

I know we are confusing as we are 2 different families who just happen to know each other through the kids school.
Alirob is Ali, Rob and 2 teenages we are in cabin 7088
Jayne, Calum and Fraser ( Jayne is the Mum and the boys are 13 and 15 years old) she is yet to register with Disboards - I have been explaining it to her.
We are all from Auckland and this is Ali and Robs Joannas and Marks 2nd cruise on a Disney Ship (so we are silver Castaway members) but Jaynes and the boys first one I will find out her cabin number I know she is on deck 7 as well as us but on the opposite side forward. We are all at 2nd dinner seating.

Hi all
Back from my med adventure on the Magic - it was awesome! Did FEs for the first time -- it was loads of fun.
Getting really excited about this cruise -- it seems more and more real as the payment date draws closer!!!!!
Our amazing server from the Magic -- Igor -- is moving to the Dream -- we will be asking to be at this table!!!

Have my flights booked, my hotel the night before booked....sheesh....I think that makes me sound organized
