*room update* my wonderful travel agent was able to get us into a concierge family stateroom! We are now in 12504.

That's a large group meeting for the BBQ! Anyone staying at Country Inns and Suites at the port?

Slowly getting things ready to pack while also helping DD pack for semester in London.

Judy

Been there done that....twice!!! Our DD did two semesters in London...in 2008 and 2010. She LOVED IT!!!! We went to visit both times and had awesome visits!!

What school is she going to/through. Our DD went through SUNY Albany and went to AIU (AMERICAN INTERCONTINENTAL UNIVERSITY) on Marlybone Street in the center of London.

Hardest part for us was letting her go with absolutely no one else...she went by herself as a Sophmore in college and was the first time she was in Europe. She did great but I was a nervous wreck until she got to the Dorm.:scared1: Beware....since that first trip to London DD has been to Paris, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Manheim, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Ukraine and Egypt and a few others I am sure I forgot!! They become addicted to travel!! At 22 I was married and had NEVER been anywhere other than WDW!!! LOL!!!

Catching up on all the posts. I can not wait for all of us to spend our first night in our cabins!! We will be tucked into our comfortable beds, being rocked to sleep dreaming on the Dream. :goodvibes

I am a single mother of a 14 year old son. How may single parents replied?

I'm a single Mom of a 12 year old girl. Please send MichellT and I a PM if you want to plan to meet up with us. Right now we're meeting on the first night for a drink, and then are going to take it from there.

I know we are late to the party, having just booked the cruise, but is there any chance we could get in on the Fish Extender Exchange? DS just came back from scout camp, and his first question when we heard we had booked the cruise was, "Do we get to do fish extenders?" :confused3

Please add our names to the list. David Schiller & Thomas Taffinder. I do have a convention for my business that week prior to the sailing. I hope to work both into my schedule. I look forward to meeting you all.

David Schiller

EllaEnchanted - Deb, we're in 9674, aft veranda. We can link up at the sail away party and figure out a time to toast the guys ;) Sorry we can't be at the BBQ, sounds like fun but we'll be at Vero Beach before the cruise.

Yes, I'm worried about the temps too! But it has to be warmer than what we are having now. I told DH I would pack a separate bag with sweaters etc. that we could grab if we need it, but hope we don't!!!

We're the kind of people who don't let weather stop us from having a good time. We've done Disney in a tropical storm, when it was 19 degrees, and when it was HOT. Nothing stops us from Mickey and Pixie Dust!

See you SOON!

We are staying at CIS the night before. Are you?:yay:

Yes, we are. We fly in early afternoon. We may go to downtown Disney for the day.

She is going through USAC and studying at London Metropolitan University.

Lin, it's going to be hard to find you at the sailaway party.....remember it's a bigger boat. But I will call you on our new wave phones and we can plan a time to get together. We'll be in stateroom 5150....also aft with a verandah. We won't be able to make the barbeque either since we're staying in Cocoa Beach before the cruise. Have fun at Vero Beach. I always wanted to try staying there. You'll have to let us know all about it.

Packing a separate bag with sweaters is a great idea. I think I'll steal it from you. We too have sailed in the hottest and coldest of weather....even the roughest of seas and we love it all too. We're booked for the first Alaskan, so it will prepare us for that trip if it's cold.

Start packing and counting down. We leave here in just 2 more weeks. We'll see you onboard!!!!

Thanks to Judy (and her recent upgrade) she has volunteered her stateroom for the tour. We are now just short a Cat T in order to see each category on the ship. Here's their info:

12504 Cat V CAT V Concierge Family Oceanview with Verandah Judy and Jim (Magicalfam5)

I have edited the original post on stateroom tour, see page 217, post 3247.

Got some awesome news on Friday! We were contacted by Dreams Unlimited to hear that our waitlist for a Cat T room came through! We only had a few hours to make it happen, but it's done.:banana::banana:

If you still need a Cat T for the stateroom tour, we'd be happy to participate. We'd love to take a peek at the Royal Suite.

Here's our updated information for the roster and new stateroom #:

DISBoards: NejTheLion
Guests: Jen, Barry (DF), Debbi (DM)
Springfield, VA
Stateroom: 11002 (Cat T)
Late Dining
Gold Castaways (but this cruise finally makes us Platinum!)

Hey everyone, I am so jealous of all you getting to leave winter behind and go on this awesome cruise. I know you all will have a great time.
I am searching for someone who is going on this maiden cruise who can help me out. My daughter collects the Disney vinylmations and she told me she wants the two vinylmations that come out on this cruise so bad for her birthday. They are suppose to be only available by the rsp for that first two cruises. I was thinking that it would be awesome if one of you guys could help out. I will pay you for your time as well as well as sending some wishes for great weather to you ;)
Just let me know......
Thanks, have a great time everyone
Joey

YES!!!!! We'll be leaving in just 2 weeks from last night. The countdown is on!!! YEAH!!!

We are heading down two weeks from yesterday too. Staying for a few days before the cruise at Beach Club Villas! Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I'm getting exciting by watching the videos on the DCL website... they keep talking about building to the MV on the 26th... I feel like it's going to be really special. :yay: I was watching a new video on the Disney Blog today of the Dream coming into PC... I keep thinking of her as MY ship

We are getting so excited. Finally got everything we need for our FE stuff. Started setting clothes aside in a basket for the trip. This is the most organized I've been for a trip since our honeymoon. Thank goodness!

We'll be at BLT from the 22- 26. If anyone wants to meet up. I don't think we'll be able to make the cookout because Lorelei goes to bed pretty early.

NejTheLion- I'm so excited for you and that gives me so much hope that we'll get the cat V we're waitlisted for on the MV of the Fantasy. Congrats :goodvibes

I'm getting super excited. Cody and I leave Saturday for a week at Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas, followed by 3 nights at the Grand Floridian for our wedding. Sorry we won't make the cookout, but we will be at Victoria and Alberts. :D

Two weeks from right now, we'll be on a plane on our way to Florida!! :cool1: Given how cold it is today, that can't happen soon enough!!!

We have 2 nights at AKL (club level) and then we head to the Dream (after my husband spends the morning rocketing around the track at the Richard Petty Experience...it is his birthday:cheer2:)

Have all my FE stuff organized....I haven't seen any responses to those folks who thought they were on the FE list but aren't..... I always bring extra so I have no problem adding them....given that FEs are supposed to be a fun group activity, I'm good with including them :grouphug:

Thanks for the well wishes and many people have been asking the MV'ers to pick things up (and mostly asking for the vinylmations). Just don't know if will be possible with the RSP system and the limited amount being sold.

We submitted our RSP's about a month ago.

Hope it works out for you.
