Disney Dream, Feb 26, 2016

This is what I found posted by someone else about sending a personal message...
If you hover over "Inbox" at upper right, you'll see "start a new conversation". Conversations is what PMs are now called. Click on that and you can converse with up to 10 people.

You must have at least posted 10 messages to be able to start a new conversation with someone.
So you cannot have a link on here for a Google doc, which I didn't realize. Only a few people were able to sign up before they removed the link. If you are interested in a Fish Extender group please post the following info or PM me and I will put together a spreadsheet or list of the participating cabins after everyone has posted. We will need. Cabin number, Number of adults/kids, with kids ages. If you would also like to include your names, allergies, favorite characters, or let us know if you are celebrating anything special I will include that info on the list as well.
So far we have three cabins signed up. The group will close at 10 cabins or on Saturday Jan 23rd, 2016. That way everyone has time to make or purchase their FE gift.
I would like to join the FE 1 adult and two girls Zola is 3 and Eliza is 1 and her birthday is march 8th

Great all I need now is your cabin number. You can post it here or if you post up to 10 messages it will allow you to start a new conversation with me personally and send my your cabin number that way.

I need your cabin number for the FE group list. Please post it here or PM me.Also if you would like me to add your first/last names, allergies, favorite characters, or any special occasions you are celebrating just let me know.
8138 Daryn, Ari (adult women), Fletch (5-peanut allergy), Ava (8th birthday celebration)
Thanks so much for organizing this! Sorry it's such a hassle!

I am interested, but I have a question as we have never participated in something like this before (It's actually our first cruise together and his first Disney Cruise). Are the gifts per person or per stateroom?

My husband and I will be on our babymoon and I'll be 21 weeks pregnant at the time of sailing. I don't want to take on more than I can chew with this. ☺️

You can gift however you like. Some people do something per state room, others do gifts per person. Some go crazy and gift something everyday. Here are some examples that we were given on our last cruise... pirate garb, ornament for a Christmas tree, picture frame, treats, pail and shovel, necklaces for the girls bracelets for the boys, magnets for the cruise door, etc... It can be anything you can imagine. It's just to add some extra Disney fun to the cruise. Some gifts are homemade others are bought. It's not anything to stress over. It's really fun.

We are not going to be able to participate this time. Thank you for the information and I hope we can join in the fun next time!

Is there still time and room to join the FE group? I hope so. We just booked our first Disney Cruise this week, and just found out about Fish Extenders today. There's myself, my husband, and our 2-year old daughter.

I know this is the last day, I just found this post. This sounds like fun, but I'm not sure I quite understand the process or rules. This is me and my husband's first cruise.

Cabin #8648

No Allergies. Our little one loves Sofia the First, Ariel, Daisy, and of course Mickey & Minnie.

We're celebrating our 5th anniversary on 2/26.

If you would like to join the Fish Extender group I need your cabin number and number of adults/kids with kids ages for the group. If you would like to add your names, any allergies, favorite characters, or special occasions you are celebrating feel free. I will post the final list of participants when it's complete.
How the FE group works... the cabins will exchange gifts at least once while on the cruise. You can do it however you like, some people do a gift per cabin, some do a gift per person, some gift once others gift several times...it's up to you. It's just to add some extra fun to the cruise. You just hang a fish extender from the fish outside your cabin and people drop off the gifts in the pockets.

Not to be nosy but you may want to check with Disney on their pregnancy policy. I am a TA with Disney and they are pretty strict. If they see you are pregnant they will ask for a Dr. Note and not let you board at their disgression. I know locals who have been turned away at the ship. It's on the terms and conditions.

DCL's policy is pretty much in line with most other cruise lines - you can't have entered or will be entering your 24th week during the cruise. Other than that, at 21 weeks, she's good to go. As long as she's comfortable with being away from her personal medical care.

Here's the policy from the Terms & Conditions contract:
Women who have entered their 24th week of pregnancy as of their embarkation date or who will enter their 24th week of pregnancy during the cruise will be refused passage due to safety concerns. Neither a physician's medical statement nor a waiver of liability will be accepted.

Yes. That is the official document. A friend of ours was 22 weeks pregnant and Disney questioned her boarding the boat because she looked further along. She was required to have a note from Dr. Faxed before she was allowed to board. Just saying she might want to get that note anyway for personal comfort and to not be stressed at the port.
