I am looking at the Dream deck plan on the DCL site and I noticed that most cabins have a little up or down pointing "carrot" symbol next to the cabin number. I can't for the life of me find it explained in a legend. Does this have to do with the sleeping for the 3 or 4th guest? And does it mean something if it's pointing up vs. down?

I found the explanation that the arrow on the line between cabins means connecting. I hope I'm not missing something right in front of my face on this one :rotfl:. Any help is much appreciated!:goodvibes

I don't see any cabin numbers on the deck plan. When I hover over a specific room, a little window opens with the cabin number, type of cabin, category, and if it connects to room next door.

Where are you seeing cabin numbers with the little symbol?

I believe it's indicating connecting rooms, with an interior door between. You'll notice some rooms do not have the little arrow, and that means they don't connect to another.

Enjoy your cruise!

It's just more of the graphic representation of connecting staterooms. Only connecting rooms have them, and they point toward the room that connects.

I think those also indicate which rooms adjoin. So, looking at Deck 6, 6014 and 6016 are connected to each other; 6012 is not connected to any other rooms.

Thank you all! Silly me, when I looked at the legend I thought just the arrow on the line meant connecting and I didn't realize the carrots were part of it!

they point toward the room that connects.

Oh this makes complete sense! I'm having a forehead slap moment now!!!!

I know exactly what you're talking about and I have no idea what those carrot arrows mean either. :confused3 I never gave it any thought but now I'm curious!

ETA: ok now that I read you guys' responses, it makes sense! Thanks! Learn something new every day. :)
