Looks like I missed out on a bunch of new conversations since the forum settings isn't notifying me by email when this thread is being responded to. (Yes, I'm watching it and have it setup to notify me of replies).

Any who! Excited the cruise is coming up in a few weeks. Just got back from DLR/DCA, running the Avengers Infinity Gauntlet Challenge. I have our FE gifts all ready to go!

Anyone doing the Castaway Cay 5k? It'll be our 5yo first race and she is excited to get her finishers medal.

Hi everyone,

This is our first Disney cruise and we are so excited! We have a 2.5 year old and a 10 month old, and would love to meet up with other parents with toddlers and babies!

I heard there is an optional gift exchange on Disney cruises. Is that the "FE" I keep seeing, and is it too late to join?

I also read that the doors are magnetic and people decorate them with magnets. Is this true? Does anyone have advise for us?

Just 19 days 17hrs, 45mins and 20 secs but whose counting...... I wish I had my F.E. gifts done but this wedding/holiday season at work is driving me crazy!!!! I won't be running the 5K but I'll cheer on your little one in spirit lol.

welcome to your 1st Disney Cruise!!!! You are in the right place for the gift exchange or F.E. but unfortunately both of the lists have been closed. However you are still welcome to chat with us and ask us whatever you want. The doors are magnetic and you can decorate them to your hearts content. Here's a pic from my last cruise

Welcome to your 1st Disney Cruise!!!! You are in the right place for the F.E. but unfortunately the lists have been closed. However you are still welcome to chat with us and ask us whatever you want.

I am doing the 5k as well! Just a heads up, I thought I had read that kids have to be at least 10 to do it. Unless you mean you are pushing her in a stroller?

life got in the way of my 5k training (the little one that is now cruising with us in december ) and would still like to participate.

I've only ever done it once, but as I remember, its not accurately timed. There was a clock at the finish line, but no chip timing or anything like that. There's no official time limit, however, the cast members who do the 5K have other jobs on the island or on the ship that day, and I believe they did say something like they wanted everyone to finish it in a hour. I didn't see any strollers, but I don't remember being told they were not allowed.

Unfortunately, there's very little information available without actually being on the ship!

Thanks!!! This helps anyway seems like it will be a fun race which is just what I'm looking for
